Two years is a long time for a hiatus.

Unfortunately, it needed to be done because I had some stuff going on. Like switching to a new job. Finding new friends. And bumping into the love of my life (*cue romantic music*). Two years is indeed a long time; but for people like me, it can go by rather fast. I feel like I haven't done much in those two years – and yet, I also feel exhausted.

So what's my biggest time-waster these days?

My Job

Say hello to the world of SEO – that's search engine optimization. For the newbs (I still can't use the word 'noob'; it feels so derogatory!), SEO is a branch of online marketing that deals with making websites rank on the first page of search engines (like Google). Yes, your favorite sites didn't get on those high ranks by themselves. Even popular businesses still require some form of SEO.

And this is where most of my time, ideas, and energy go into nowadays.

My Social Life

Ha! I mean...yeah, that. Well, new obligations call for a huge chunk of my hours so...I missed out on some cool stuff with my friends for months now. Sad days indeed. But there are still holidays! So I'm definitely hopeful. I can hang out with one or two once in a bluemoon (recently went with my friend on a short city trip); but I think this is one aspect of my life that I need to improve before 2015 sets in.

My Love Life

He's no Mr. Perfect – but then, no guy is. But he's surely right for me. A smart aleck with a soft spot for explosive devices, complicated video games, and burgers, he's more than enough for me. We're not physically together now though (which sucks), but I'm hoping that we won't have to be in the future. It's actually my first time to ever be in a LDR (gad, I hate that term), but it's going well.

I guess you could say my life is complete, eh?
