hey I thought I’d gotten the overdraft nonsense fixed because I corrected the small overdraft amount within a few hours, but now they’ve charged me an overdraft fee and I’m right back where I started.

They are sheltered and face no real difficultues. They live in an echochamber, and haven't been actually discriminated against in real life. They have no concept of what getting hurt offline feels like

They don't care that an lgbt kid just called a suicide hotline somewhere.

They'll never relate to that kid. They don't think about that kid.

Activism is a game for them. Apology beats problematic tweet, problematic tweet beats doing an actual good thing. Real world implications don't matter.
