The first concept

The royal attendent

Amalia lives among the Zora of the twilight princess Domain. Her mother was the royal advicer to the late Zora king and passed her possition down to Amalia. She tended to Queen Rutela for many years and during Zant's attack she barely escaped with her life. Ridden with guilt for leaving the side of her queen during the attack she, along with her girlfriend, sets out to find the lost prince Ralis.

The very first Licker encounter.

This artwork has been an incredibly long time coming with me concepting a year ago. The actual work on this artwork started in September of this year. My original plan was to do this traditionally but in the end I'm unsure if I would have been able to pull it off.

With this I was trying to capture the moment of the very first Licker encounter. Truely one of the most iconic moments in RE history.

Is everyone enjoying tears of the kingdom? I certainly am, even considering my busy scedule, since I've already played for over 60 hours. Anyways I decided that an artwork to celebrate the new game is in order.

Picking a character was not so easy as there are many new and old characters with lovely designes. However queen Sonia easily won me over with her lovely design and kind personality. For the medium I picked my Ohuhu markers as I got a big order in from their store with two new sets and some replacement for empty markers.

I spent a good chunk of a week on this which was worth it cause I'm in love with this piece. I used plenty of pastel marker for this but still got a good value of shades. Markers are trulely so fun to work with.

The original concept...

Some time ago I had a dream that I was in twilight princess' hyrule. There the Zora helped me reach the domain and upon arriving at the domain I met Sidon as he would look like in TP. So the next morning I decided to draw him like I saw him in my dream... kinda crazy right?

I tried to stick to the original color sceme, but change the anatomy to fit a TP Zora. The jewelry is a mix of his actual wear incorporated with TP elements.

Soon after I decided to host a DTIYS that featured a portraid of the prince.

The most recent artwork...

Over on twitter a Zelda artist decided to host the Zora May (simular to Mermay). The first prompt was to redesign as Zora and my concept was the perfect fit for that prompt. I'm glad I have a proper full body renderd piece of him, as I do quite like the design.

Question:

If I were to create an illustration with him what location could he be in? Who else should be there?

Stop right what you are doing, have you ever heared of Sidon's beta design? He was supposed to be silver but ended up beeing too hard to see in the rainy lanayru region so he became red like his sister.

However I believe that he looks great in silver therefore I went ahead and painted a scene featuring his beta design. He is awaiting Link at the bridge leading to Zora's Domain.
