Crimson Chords

It’s a bitter pill to swallow those words on the screen. Apollo can feel the phone shake in his hand and immediately clenches his teeth to try and stop it. ‘Why Apollo?! Why’d you even let yourself get so attached?!’ He screams at himself, because god knows his he screams out into the open air his chords of steel will snap and break like rusted iron. 

He can feel the weight of his own foolishness rest heavy on his shoulders. The man is a damn rockstar, of course it was never going to work out! Apollo’s life is bound to pencil pushing and paper trails, his life is bound to pointing fingers like guns at triggers to unravel truths. He lives for the truth and what is real, and Klavier- well, that lifestyle almost seems like a fairytail, or one conjured in his dreams

Of course it was never going to work.

A sad hum of a laugh escapes him, before its replaced with a shap intake of breath knowing that laugh will manifest into something more grotesque and painful if he doesn’t snuff it out. His chest puffs out with the breath, and the writing on the screen looks blurred now. He must have been crying and hadn’t realised it.

‘What am I doing...?

                                    Why am I getting upset?’

Klavier is not the first to leave him behind, and he wont be the last.

For a long time, the keypad is waiting for the words to be punched in but Apollo hesitates, half wanting to rant and rave and know why. Apollo can’t help his hunger for answers, but he steels himself away from that thread and weaves out something a little different, something he once told a friend, something dear to him. 

[Messase to: “Your Leibe”]  It’s OK Klavier. You don’t have to explain, or apologise... I understand. I’m Apollo Justice remember so...

 I have no muse for Apollo whatsoever, but I have so many wonderful memories from this blog that its simply too hard to delete it. I’m still around on Skype if you wanna talk.
