Zoids - HMM Great Saber (Kotobukiya)

Finally got this kit finished, detailed, and photographed! It was sitting in my backlog for far too long, I was honestly kind of dreading it. Being an older design, some parts of the Saber's build are difficult, but it actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting. My only other experience with the HMM Saber Tiger was the bootleg, which of course was frustrating and difficult. Some steps were still finicky and others needed glue and minor sanding, but overall not a bad kit if you've got a little patience and some prior experience. Would not be an HMM I recommend to beginners though, haha!

my biology professor has such a chaotic energy about him, last week i went to his office hours and somehow we ended up on the topic of gay marriage:

he said that when he lived in texas they changed the law to define marriage as “between a man and a woman in a house of religious worship with the intention to have children” so he filed his taxes as single and when they called him up like “you filed married last year” he was like “you changed the law, i was married by a judge in a courthouse and i have no intention of having kids” and they told him “you know who that law was for” and i guess he hung up on them and did not, in fact, pay taxes as a married man that year

I'm hoping to have all the flags & crests ready by June so I can so I can launch some custom pride stickers :) These are my preliminary attempts! <3 I didn't like the legibility of the abstracted flags on the ones with more stripes, so I'll probably do a combo of regular flags and abstracted depending on the number of stripes.
