In a dream, I pictured you holding my hand. I heard you whistle tunes I had yet to learn, and I could never whistle and you can. (Can you?) Before I went to sleep, I softly whispered to speak to you again. And I hope you heard, I hope you did. Because, they say, we’ve lived in each other all along. And I know that can to be true. (Could it be that it’s you?) What I meant to say is that, I’d like for you to be the last star I see before I close my eyes. I want warmth to hold my heart as the night falls and awaken in a soft hug. I’ll let you be the first ray of sunny daylight to cross my sight, on a gentle Sunday morning. (Will you let me see?) Words are hard to explain, when feelings are involved. What an impact you made on my heart so far. Just a few words further, And my senses get disturbed a little more. A step ahead, a jump across. I will not crawl, but I will run. I’ll be fine, I’ll be alright. I don’t like waiting, But I’ll wait for you. (Could you sprint towards the hours, and reveal with a soft breath if it’s you?)
