Made a simplified water lily artwork. I really enjoyed doing it, I don't like to over-simplify and like a little more detail so I tried this. Have a lovely weekend!
The last couple of Mandalas were very organic so I decided to do a more structured one this time. I hope you like it!
I am back to posting today!I hope you all had a great week. For this one I went for a simplistic style and used 1 brush type. I am moving away from using many textured and stamping type brushes because it can instantly make work look bad if used incorrectly, I still need to find that balance. I have also been working on a fantasy world which I want to start doing environments for! I think it's an awesome way to practice.

A little different post today
So after a rough week I got my driverβs license yesterday which I am really happy about, I am a very anxious person so it was quite a stressor. With that being said it is December, the year is almost over -a year that was uncertain and not very pleasant for many. I am taking an off day will be posting on Friday again. I started posting my art only a few months ago and I am so happy with the feedback I received. I am more motivated than ever to in my free time improve and to create gorgeous art in the future. Remember to sometimes just breathe and take a break if things get to much donβt burn yourself out! With that being said I hope your December will be pleasant and joyful. Thank you to my followers!

A Mandala inspired by cells.^^The shapes of cells are very interesting so I decided to do a Mandala inspired by different cells. I hope you all like. Have a fantastic weekΒ :)
Tried a style where I made the outlines white and used the outlines in the background too to make a pattern. Really liked this quote when I saw it. Many of us struggle with accepting ourselves because we always compare ourselves to other people , whether in art, jobs, university, anything like that. If you are doing the best you possibly can it is enough , over time you will get better. Don't bring yourself down and feel less worthy because that will only make you negative. Yay it is Friday!!!
Meet "Ember" the forest spirit.
People are fun to draw but often I am put off because my anatomy just ends up looking wonky. Many people say that you have to work from references but I normally prefer to work mostly without them because I am scared that they influence the artwork too much. Β I drew this during Inktober and I liked the concept so I decided to redo it in digital. I tried to improve on the drawing. Every time I have been trying different techniques and things when shading to find a fast and effective way too shade. I started with the outline, then added a base colour and masked put the shape. From there I added the dark colours and then the light colours. I then did the highlights and global illumination. I have taken an interest in traditional chinese paintings so I think I am gonna start using them as reference to practice anatomy and faces. I hope you like this one! Have a great day.

Leaves Mandala - A Mandala I made with the theme of leaves. It's the time of year where it is mostly hot with those nice rainy days in between. Its been rainy for a couple of days now and it just smells and feels so good outside. Guess I wanted to capture that. :D

Yay it's been weeks since frogust where I started to do a theme of drawing called the "Glow Series". It is a series of my own fantasy interpretations of sea creatures and reptiles. I had this idea for a really long time and figured it will not only be enjoyable for me to draw but great practice too since I will have to stick to a theme! β€ΝΝΝΝβ I love sea horses and I think this one came out nicely, the scales with the shine kind of makes me think of the icing on some cookies that you get . I just love taking animals and reptiles and putting my own magical spin on things. Please comment and tell me what you think, I love to chat!
