Well obviously a nest was necessary, even Situ was guilty of making nests, though his were considerably less⌠Meaty. The god was so very glad he could float and didnât have to touch the floor.
He cringed a bit as he moved into the cafeteria. It might not have been recognizable as one anymore, but Crawler still seemed to be using it for the same function, given the corpse eggs hanging from the ceiling. Situ was now also very glad he was not made of flesh.
The dog elicited some concern but it already looked like a lost cause and Crawler wouldnât appreciate him taking food away, in their nest no less. That would be the ultimate disrespect.Â
Situ floated over their head, peering all around the room, âwell. youâve certainly been busy. you live here? how did you manage to get lost so far in my forest?â
Squish, squish, squish. After the flesh directly underneath their feet was kneaded into a state of satisfactory comfiness, the bloated creature snuggled down into their resting spot, multiple limbs neatly tucked beneath their bulk. Their expression was lazy, and what could only be described as content. For as horrible as this meat nest was, Crawler seemed awfully happy down here. This question was also difficult to answer for the inexperienced being. They tilted their head back and forth in thought, eventually twisting their long neck completely upside-down to stare wide-eyed at the bird and his very demanding inquiries.
âMORE NEST... MANY NEST.â
The rest of what Crawler was attempting to explain was likely too difficult for them to convey at the moment. Slightly frustrated, they shifted and wiggled in their stamped down flesh bed.
âGOES THE PLACES FOR MEAT LEGSâ
They tried.
