Is This AU an Extra Mutation?

Also commonly known as "double mutated", this category is for AUs where a mutant from the AU's main cast gets mutated with another creature! Mayhaps a bug, an animal, a monster, something else? If the turtles get mutated with more than just turtle and human DNA, they fall under this category! The time in their lives of this extra mutation happening can be any time. Perhaps they are teens, perhaps they are adults, or perhaps they were mutated with turtle, human, and something else from the very beginning.

If there are still some confusions, feel free to ask us! We will also be meeting up with creators before the con begins to solidify everything.

While we don't have a date, we know FOR SURE it's happening the second week of July! The submission form will come out on 6/7/2026 and participants will be invited a week before the start of the con

Guidelines

As a part of the Creature Con Staff Team, we are looking for people to help plan, prepare, and manage Creature Con in all of it's aspects. Those looking to join will need some skills:

- Internet Safety - Protecting the attendees is one of our top priorities. This is still the internet, handing out personal information to strangers is dangerous, especially in a world that ever-encroaching on privacy. We need the Staff to know how to keep themselves and others safe.

- Situation Defusing - Sometimes people will argue. Sometimes information will come to light about those you know. Being able to handle tense circumstances with respect, timeliness, and little judgement is important. The goal of the Con is for everyone to have an easy and enjoyable time.

- Stand Firm - Not everyone is going to like or agree with decisions the team or you as an individual makes. Not everyone is going to join a discord server with good intentions. You as a Staff Member are in charge of keeping the Con experience as smooth as possible, and making decisions you believe will better the experience.

But remember! We are a Team of Staff Members, you can call on the rest of us for help! And we will have training for incoming Staff Members!

Build Team

Being a part of the Build Team is Not required for new Staff. You can be a part of the Build Team without being a discord server Staff.

For the Minecraft server specifically, we need TWO buildings to be made: the Convention Hall and the Hotel

These are meant to mirror real life convention halls and hotels, and need to have the same locations(channels, voice chats, threads) as the discord server. The specifics include:
