I finally worked out why Tumblr wasn't letting me upload a photo! I'm sorry this is so late :( Anyway, my creative purpose is simply to capture and appreciate God's creation. As a teacher I will aim to to be a Christ-like role model to my students and teach them to value morals such as genuine kindness, forgiveness, goodness, joy and peace. If someone was to look at the leaves on the trees in the background of this photo they would notice that although the leaves all came from the same tree they are all different and unique. This represents how special and unique all humans on earth have been created (including our future students ofcourse!). :)

I believe my creative purpose is like a sunrise. It represents new beginnings - The new path I have chosen for myself to travel down, and all the lives I’m going to help create and shape throughout my teaching career. I have so many bright ideas on how I would like to teach children all they need to know to help shape the next generation. I believe that each new day will bring with it new challenges and barriers that I must face with my students, but also the beauty and invigorating strength emanating from this new day will be more than enough to see us achieve and exceed all expectations.

My creative purpose is to follow my heart. Creativity flows through all of us, and everybody can have access to their creative side if you just stop for a minute and listen to what your heart is trying to tell you. My picture depicts my creative purpose. The heart represents creativity itself, as I believe your heart is the origin of creativity. The flowers represent uniqueness.  Just as no two flowers are the same, no two people are the same either.  Creativity and beauty can be found in even the simplest objects and ideas if you just take the time to look. If I continue to listen to my heart, like these flowers my creative purpose will flourish.

My creative purpose stems from Interconnectedness. I highly value trust, honesty, respect and relationships, and hope to be able to teach my students the importance of these things. I believe it is important for students to work together and in turn, gain inspiration from each other. In order for them to work together successfully however, there needs to be a base understanding of trust and respect. I hope my photograph conveys a message of interconnectedness through the weaving of the palm leaves.

Music has always been my creative process, especially composition as I can use it as a tool to make a difference. The power of music is often underestimated! For me, music says what words can not and speaks to those who do not always want to listen.

My creative purpose is to work with children. Children are not all exactly the same, you should take the time to notice not take them for granted, and engage with them, you never know what will grow. Steph March 2013

My creative purpose is to stand out and go my own way in life. I think that the way the plant has spread across the fence represents this with every vine going in its own direction.

As this photo demonstrates, my creative purpose is to travel! Nothing makes me happier than to be surrounded by different cultures and new experiences. The feathers represent all the different cultures I have come across and how they are all so beautiful and unique in their own way. From what I have seen from around the world, we as Australians are fortunate to have the lifestyle and freedom that we do. My dream is to one day travel and teach disadvantaged children from around the globe.

My Creative purpose is to put myself into everything i do; to create things that represent myself and my beliefs. When people see my creations, i want them to also see me. My creation stands for peace and love and this is something i believe greatly in. I will always try to keep peace and be happy and love my family and friends. In a classroom i would make it a peaceful place and have love in teaching students and helping build their futures.

My creative purpose is to give children the confidence to shine and blossom.

I am not yet sure what my creative purpose in life is but I do know that I love to create and I love to help other people create, especially with music. My practice for being creative involves making a comfortable environment where I can clear my head of day-to-day activities and let my mind wander into the unknown. I was able to find this as I was sitting by the UQ lakes. Considering I have never been much of a visual artist, my creation was simple. However, it was after I completed it that I was able to manipulate and change it and also experiment with different photo angles and lights (the weather was constantly changing from bright to overcast). This was the stage that I felt I was being most creative. 

Just as this photo shows the reflection of the building in the lake outside my college, my creative purpose would be to strive to show creativity within my daily teaching, and do anything that is possible to see this creativity 'reflected' in my students. The beauty of nature that is within this picture represents that creativity can be constantly surrounding us, however we need to take the time to look and discover these works of art.

so I can Live My Life.

It took me a while to know what my creative purpose is and was really struggling... Until I wandered around, taking in the natural beauty around me. My image is talking about "Stepping Stones' in life. The Stepping Stones symbolise "guide us in the direction we want to go", and at the end there is a reward. It is sometimes hard to get there but we stride to do our best do the best we can on our own personal journey. The flowers on the sides represent our thoughts and ideas on our journey. Creative purpose: We can all share ideas and thoughts on our journey together.
