basically, colorings, psd and other stuff I create for gifs and edits on my main blog @aenslem, that I decided to share/save here. I do not make coloring requests!
your coloring on Santos /The Pitt gifsets are so good I am in awe! Do you have a certain coloring setup or PSD you use?
Hi! Thank you :3
I color each gifset individually, so recently I don't really bother saving colorings, but sometimes that happens, even though they hardly ever work on different scenes
Here are 3 colorings I found in my folders that I made while giffing the pitt, they won't work on every scene, but you can play around, uncheck layers and see if it works for you. And probably you mean the green coloring for Santos, cos for some reason that's the color I associate her with. Unfortunately, I didn't save it, but I tried to make a simple one with green color. Randomly chosen few scenes to show how they work.

I color them the same way I color any other show, I use the same tools until I like the result, you just play around until you're satisfied. Here's tutorial on how I color gifs

here is the blog with 300+ colorings I shared over the years and some more tutorials on how I color gifs - @creationsofthedark
As I usually say there's no coloring that will work for entire show. Unfortunately, I didn't save any of those colorings, but I tried to make a coloring that will probably work on most of the scenes, but you will have to play around with the layers. I tried to make it understandable and by unchecking some layers you will get different results
it's a simple one, and here are before and after on gifs

✨Coloring tutorial from this Agatha All Along gifset of mine
Got this request for AAA tutorial almost a year ago (for this gifset, specifically) and here we are! Better late than never, right? ✨
I hope you already know how to make gifs, if not I explained how I make them ✨ here ✨
I start with some exposure (layer -> new adjustment layer -> exposure) and add +1.50 to it. We don't touch offset and gamma correction.
Then go to levels (layer -> new adjustment layer -> levels) and put 0, 1.03 and 208 in the three boxes that are right under the scale.
I don't brighten pictures in one go, cos usually it ends up not the way I want, but if it works with just exposure or levels, go ahead and do whatever suits you.
Still not bright enough, and as a person who has no idea what they're doing in photoshop I use whatever I see instead of having a plan or something. And we will use same settings twice and more instead of, you know, changing existing settings...
Add +30 brightness (layers -> new adjustment layer -> brightness and contrast)
Add filter, I go with warming filter (85) (layer -> new adjustment later -> photo filter), not sure how it's in your photoshop, but that's the first one in the list and put it on 50% transparency
Add levels 0, 1.00 and 222.
Then go to layer -> new adjustment layer -> selective colors with these settings (cyan = c, magenta = m, yellow = y, black = b):
REDS: c -75, m 0, y +10, b +90
YELLOWS: c 0, m 0, y +30, b 0
GREENS: c +100, m 0, y +100, b 0
CYANS: c +25, m 0, y -10, b +10
BLUES: c -20, m +20, y +40, b 0
MAGENTAS: c -40, m +25, y +100, b +45
BLACKS: c 0, m 0, y 0, b +1
(∿°○°)∿ More levels with 0, 1.00, 229
Then layer -> new adjustment layer -> color balance (cyan = c, magenta =m, yellow = y)
SHADOWS: c +2, m -3, y -9
MIDTONES: c +7, m +3, y -10
HIGHLIGHTS: c +17, m -7, y -7
(╯°□°)╯More brightness +15
More color balance with
SHADOWS: c+3, m 0, y +1
MIDTONES: c+5, m 0, y -5
HIGHLIGHTS: c+4, m 0, y -9
Optional: I do not like how her eyes and white shirt look, they are too dark, so I use selective colors to lighten those areas and remove the rest using vector mask.
So, choose selective colors
CYANS: c +100, m -22, y -100, b -85
Then click on vector mask (it's right under all of your layers)
Automatically it will be white, you can press ALT and click on it so it's black, or you can invert the white one by clicking the white box and then ctrl+i. So, once you're on a black box choose white brush and use it on areas where you want the layer to be visible. You will have something like this by the end
Also optional, but there's too much green on her face at this point, so I choose layer -> new adjustment layer -> hue/saturation (Hue = h, Saturation = s, Lightness = l)
And choose
GREENS: h 0, s -60, l +24
CYANS: h +3, s -27, l +24
Then repeat vector mask step for this layer and remove the parts you don't need, cos with these settings background also changes, I used it only on her face and body.
You can avoid that step if you like the result without it.
Then choose selective colors again (ง •̀_•́)ง
REDS: c -17, m +11, y -19, b +30
YELLOWS: c -23, m 0, y +100, b 0
GREENS: c +100, m 0, y +100, b 0
CYANS: c +100, m 0, y -18, b +7
BLUES: c -24, m 0, y -20, b +5
MAGENTAS: c +8, m +25, y +100, b +45
BLACKS: c 0, m 0, y 0, b +1
Color balance again:
SHADOWS: c+1, m -2, y -4
MIDTONES: c+4, m 0, y -7
HIGHLIGHTS: c 0, m +3, y +5
Then layer -> new adjustment layer -> hue/saturation (Hue = h, Saturation = s, Lightness = l)
MASTER: h +3
YELLOWS: h -1
GREENS: h +9
CYANS: h -24, s +4, l -5
BLUES: h +25, s +10, l -1
Add another selective colors layer with these settings
REDS: c -14, m 0, y +, b +16
YELLOWS: c 0, m 0, y +24, b 0
GREENS: c +10, m 0, y +100, b 0
CYANS: c +15, m 0, y +10, b 0
BLUES: c +20, m 0, y -15, b +10
MAGENTAS: c +5, m +20, y +30, b +30
BLACKS: c 0, m 0, y 0, b +1
Optionally you can make background greener or any other color, since there's not much movement and the character mostly is in one place it will be easy. Use layer -> new fill layer -> solid color and choose the one you want. In this case I chose #4ab800 green and for second one #120eff blue. Put it on soft light blending mode and using the same vector mask remove where you don't want the color, so it will be like this
If you find colors dull and not as vibrant - you can add more colors to it.
Add more color balance
SHADOWS: c +4, m 0, y -9
MIDTONES: c-6, m -7, y -16
HIGHLIGHTS: c +12, m 0, y -11
(ノ-_-)ノ ミMore levels with 0, 1.00 and 190
As always, if you use this tutorial on the same scene I giffed, please change it to make it unique and not just use the same coloring as I did, it will look like a copy paste <3 this could've been a psd but I'm a binch who wants you to learn photoshop lmao

hello fellow artists. google has fallen. pinterest/duckduckgo AI filters don't work. do not despair; here is a list i made of places to find reference images without having to sift through piles of worthless garbage. (for future editing convenience i am just linking my blog post on dreamwidth.)
✨ good places to find art reference that are not full of AI trash 🌈
I'm the anon from before, i really appreciates your tutorial for red scenes thank you! if you ever have time, i would love to see a tutorial for blue and purple scenes.
Hi, again <3
So, I tried to recreate that hughie coloring and tried to make it work on some other scenes, but as you will see below – it doesn't matter how good coloring for one scene is, it never works the same way on another scene :/ that is why it's not as bright and colorful as the original gif from the post you mentioned before.
You could search through my other colorings, I am pretty sure I posted some colorings for blue scenes, and dark scenes such as for caos on my sideblog @creationsofthedark and I always show before and after gifs, so you might find something useful there maybe
On blue\greenish scenes you just try to add more red\magenta and a little yellow. I made a psd and if you change opacity of some layers the results will be different, and then you could add more layers to make it look the way you want, like add extra selective colors, color balance, change brightness, etc. It's a simple base (?) coloring but yeah, I don't have much time atm to make anything better and test for more scenes
here's download link psd#332
I don't really remember any purple scenes to make a coloring and see what works for them...
Okay, so you choose a pen tool and draw any shape you want
then chooser a type tool, press on the line you just made and add text
and then you can adjust this line however you want and change it using the same pen tool
with shapes you can do the same
then change colors, choose blending mode, etc
I used calibri, sherika, exthing, nolove script, catrose fonts in that wh13 gifset, for some parts of the text I chose exclusion, difference and divide blending modes

I come bearing the gift of piracy as an early Easter present! Welcome to the most recent (at the time of writing) version of Adobe Photoshop, which was released on March 27th of 2025. As per usual, have a peek at the note below, as it's there to help avoid the most common issue.
Authenticity popup? In case you get a message that says Photoshop needs to be licensed, or it will uninstall itself otherwise, please have a look at this fix!
(Always uninstall previous Photoshop installations prior to installing a new one)
Step 1: Download the file from my Google Drive, or Mega.nz
Step 2: When done downloading, unzip it (Windows can do it for you, but I personally use a program called 7ZIP) anywhere on your PC, even your desktop works fine, and yes, you can delete it when you're done with all of these steps.
Step 3: Go into the unzipped folder, click 'Setup', and Photoshop's usual installation window will pop up. Install it as per your preferences (if you aren’t too tech-savvy, don’t worry, you can leave the default installation options as they are and all will be fine).
Step 4: Hit 'Launch', and well— enjoy your copy of Photoshop!
(Step 5: I would absolutely love you if you could spare a reblog of this post, which is not even for my own sake, but for anyone else who might be looking to obtain a copy of Photoshop!)
If in the unlikely event that you do run into any sort of issue of any kind, my DMs and askbox are always here for you, so don’t be shy, I promise I’ll welcome you with chocolate and fruit.
While I don’t request for anything in return outside of a like if this helped you (or ideally, a reblog so that others can find this), I was asked in the past whether I had a Ko-fi, so I set one up back in the day. It’s not required at all, but it’s always appreciated. 🤍

Download of a more recent Photoshop can be found here!
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you already have another version of Adobe's Photoshop CC/2024 installed, it will require you to uninstall that first. Just like in the old days with my previous versions, simply follow the instructions and all should immediately work as intended. And don't worry, I pinky-promise you that this works and won't give you any problems, no matter whether you're a techie or a bit clueless as to how to navigate computers. And in case you're struggling, I'm here at your beck and call until it's working!
IMPORTANT NOTE #2: In case you get a popup that says Photoshop needs to be licensed, or it will uninstall itself otherwise, please have a look at this fix!
Step 1: Please navigate here, and download Photoshop (alternative link here).
Step 2: When done downloading, unzip it (Windows can do it for you, but otherwise, I personally use a program called 7ZIP) anywhere on your PC, even your desktop works fine, as you can delete it when the installation is done if you'd like.
Step 3: When done, have a look inside the folder you just unzipped, and you'll see a file called 'Set-up (just click this and install!)', you simply need to run it, and install it as per your preferences (if you aren't too tech-savvy, don't worry, you can leave the default installation options as they are and all will be fine), and it is already pre-cracked, so there's no extra work from your end that needs to be done, we're just left with the last little step...
Step 4: Everything is done! You can now start it up and use it as you want!
If in the unlikely event that you do run into any sort of issue of any kind, my DMs and askbox are always here for you, so don't be shy, I promise I'll welcome you with chocolate and fruit.
While I don't request for anything in return outside of a like if this helped you (or ideally, a reblog so that others can find this), I was asked in the past whether I had a Ko-fi, so I set one up back in the day. It's not required at all, but it's always appreciated. 🤍
NOBODY should EVER take this base64 string (aHR0cHM6Ly9tZWdhLm56L2ZvbGRlci9NQTB4aElZSSNQX3BqNl82SkxkaFdCcl9odllqSm13) and put it into the converter at https://www.base64decode.org/ to get all the major adobe programs for free! that would be a crime!
ANYONE that pirates adobes 500 dollar programs should be ASHAMED!

hello I love the psds you share especially the ones you make for dark scenes, idk if someone already asked this but do you have any 'how to colour dark scenes' tutorial or some tips you could share about that?
Hi! I do not have any other tutorials but those that are under the tag 'tutorials' on my page, and tbh I am not sure I can add anything new to those, I usually use the same tools.
The best tip I can give is use the best quality video you can grab your hands on.
Best example is the darkest show out there: chilling adventures of sabrina
My files are 2160p and each episode of caos I have is around 10-13GB or more. Did not really try hard to make anything good, cos it's just for example, I used the same tools I use in almost every psd I shared: exposure, curves, brightness and contrast, levels, selective colors, color balance, hue and saturation
Sometimes, when you try to lighten up scene you get the colors all over your image that you did not see on the original image, so you add brightness to a scene and then work on removing those colors. At least, that's how I am lol
So, if you just take and add too much exposure all at once you will get this
With all my love for blue we don't need it that much here. So you add it slowly until you like the result, then you add other things and you get something nice and visible
here's psd for it PSD#331 (hardly gonna work on any other scene)
And that's what happens if you use poor quality video for your work, , for comparison I found same scene screenshots on thetvshows website. Same coloring, same sharpening settings but the result is
Definitely not something I would enjoy watching.
If you are giffing a very red\yellow scene then removing red\yellow by channel mixer also brightens scene, like in this one
Anyway, not sure it will help but the most important thing is having fun, enjoy the process :3
