so what i mentioned in my previous post, about my best friend, can basically be summed up to this: he was diagnosed with colon cancer about a year ago and more recently found out he likely has 1-2 years left to live at this point. i’ve known this guy for 9 or 10 years (we’re both 20), and like, we may have met in the first ever rp i was in, but he’s been the one person who’s consistently been there for me through my low points and vice versa. i literally can’t imagine not knowing him, not having him as a friend. he’s also the friend that got me into fma in the first place
i’m still not fully in a good mental place to rp, but i am getting back into it. it helps me clear my head, get out of my own mind for a while. replies and plotting and everything are taking me a long time, but honestly? i really miss having pride as a muse.
however, i’m not going to be coming back to this blog. instead, i’m going to be making a new blog, a multimuse, that will be pride’s new home. said blog is not yet created - i’m still not entirely sure what muses will be one it - but once it’s up i’ll be back to let you guys know. if you’d like to contact me in the meantime, or are interested in finding out what muses might potentially be on it, my dependent multimuse blog @decepticns, is the best place to look.

hey so i know i just came back to this blog, and then went inactive bc of work like immediately after. and i feel absolutely horrid about that but something’s happening with my best friend and i am in no way in a mental or emotional state to think about rping at all, and i’d like to say i’ll be back soon but honestly i don’t know when i’ll feel up to rping again.
*lies face down on the floor* i don’t recommend working 40+ hours every week and leaving yourself with only one day off, on which that day is the only day to do any kind of chores/shopping/etc. bc friends, that’s where i am right about now and it’s not a whole lotta fun.
another minor update: after next week, during which i’m working ~52 hours, my schedule should be going back to something more manageable and i’ll actually be able to get on. until then, please hold tight and i’m so sorry for reviving this blog only to literally immediately disappear.

pride fixes a rather unimpressed look upon his brother, not truly believing he’s trying to have him play such a childish game with him. he may well look like a child, but even greed should know that pride is anything but. still, he decides to indulge him, if even for a moment. he offers his choice up at the same moment greed does (rock, and, going by his motions, the elder homunculus is bored with this.) before he gives pause, realizing exactly which option greed had thrown down.
“no,” he says, a touch of childish petulance to his tone, “i demand a rematch.”

what if i said: long ago, supernaturals roamed the earth freely. it might not have been quite the best life, but they walked the same earth you’ve walked. would you believe me ? well it’s true. you’ll just have to take my word for it. because it wasn’t long until the viciousness of human nature won out as hunts for supernaturals took place, causing all supernaturals to go on the run.
one specific supernatural, a lone druid, had found themself running into a cave full of crystals, far underground. magic pulsed through the cave, & the druid found themself allured. so much so, that they built a town, a home for supernaturals, among the crystals.the town grew & grew over the many centuries, thriving off the people & the crystals’s magic. as the years passed, the druid had realised that if they could teach humans, then they could open their eyes to the world around them. &, slowly but surely: the druid has opened the cave to everyone who wants to walk through its labyrinth into their lovely town of orbuculum hollow.
upon entering the town, you must make a decision. will you choose to live in the safe sanctuary of the underground, or will you stay above ground, left wondering what could have been ?
after all, with so much room to explore, so many people to meet, so much life to live… why wouldn’t you stay in orbuculum hollow ?
