REBOOTING … . 

her core senses fought against her program, following blindly to abide by the commands set by her creator. — eavesdropping is rude ; or so they said. however, upon the moment of greeting connor, something had shifted. THE CREATION MEETING IT’S CREATOR. ( what would you say? ) the question replayed over and over again in her software, itching at the back at her wires, digging to be answered. she was not created for a response. she kneels, in the moment, azure irises catch the gaze of her former, gun in hand, gifted by the man who gave her.. life? how is it that a  M A C H I N E  is scared, of death? of restart? there are hundreds just like her - though, they hadn’t the pleasure of being the first. perhaps that gave chloe the idea that she had  m a t t e r e d  to them - to him. connor drops the gun, and at the same time, she fights - her program crumbles, pixels sprawled out beneath her fingertips. and for a moment, she resumed capabilities. standing, long porcelain legs outstretched, and the android leaves without his answer. there’s nothing but silence now - as she stares at the empty space between them.  “he would have killed me.” the tone of voice surprises even her.  an android, upset? emotional? her —- a  D E V I A NT ?

she’s staring at elijah now, never spoken out of context in her existence. “he would have K I L L E D me - and you would have let it.” she’s hurt. 

gaze locked onto snowy hills  .   only a sheet of glass separating them from the chill of the detroit winter  .  the spontaneous meeting with the police proved interesting enough — things were seemingly on track — but the events that occurred after  ?  a definite surprise  .  there was no missing the hitch in her voice , so unlike her usually upbeat and pleasant tone  .  she was UPSET  .  emotional shock had triggered a response  .  fear , anger , frustration — things that can cause one to become DEVIANT  .  a deviant in his own home  . how fascinating  .
