I just love this set of panels, it shows us Jonathan Crane at his most vulnerable. He’s looking up at Batman, but he doesn’t SEE Batman. He sees the bullies who tormented him in his youth. You can feel the pain in his voice.

Is he sorry? Not by a long shot.

But he IS afraid.

Oh, I have a joker design, alright. He definitely needs a rework on account of somehow looking too homosexual.

Some time ago I found this absolutely hideous bootleg Joker action figure and decided he needs a repaint
