SO I’M ROUND ABOUT 300-ISH FOLLOWERS NOW –

– and it’s been a huge rollercoaster on this end. my blog is a mess and again heavily under construction, there are a ton of depressing ooc posts lying around and things have been generally horrible here for some time. I’ve lost a few friends along the way and have many regrets because of them, but gained new ones and some bonds that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Whenever I start up a blog or transfer I get so nervous and it’s been a few months here now, and yes okay I am still nervous about approaching people, but I think I’m doing a little bit better.

And it is because you people have helped me and encouraged me through everything and made me feel like things are okay when I’ve been at my worst. I don’t have any confidence in myself or my characters or my writing, but apparently some of you like me for some weird reason and that is genuinely so touching and means the world to me.

So here’s a little THANK-YOU to everybody who can see this. Thank-you for sticking with me through everything. Thank-you for existing. Thank-you for sharing your creativeness with the world. Thank-you for being there and making other people happy simply because you roleplay with them. Thank-you for following, for liking my posts, for replying to things, for everything. You are all so goddamn wonderful I can’t put it into words. So here’s a thank-you to ALL 300-ISH OF YOU GUYS. And yes I will include all of the urls of the people with multiple blogs.

Day 4 and 5: Pumpkin and Witch

Who was it spoken to？ How should he know—why should he c a r e？ It wouldn’t make some miracle light shine through and make a difference. This was always the way it was. He might receive an apologetic generic card, or a lamentful phone call—but more often than not—he received nothing from his parents. Not on his birthday, not on any day. All he got was scars and bruises. And that’s the way it would continue. If not physical scars, they left mental ones. The message of ‘not to be trusted’ seemed to write itself. Painfully carved into his interior by the scars that never went away. No matter how much you are dulled to pain—you still recognize it’s presence.

Things didn’t change. At least, that’s how Sora thought. They way things were equated to the way they are equated to the way they will continue to be. However, that equation, he would soon learn, was flawed & imperfect, at best.

The gentle doorbell tone roused Sora from his contemplation. As he wheeled himself to the door, he could already sense who it was. He hated being told what to do, so the dark haired boy purposefully s t a l l e d in opening the door for the salmon-haired girl whose excitement he could basically feel through the door.

Disinterest marks his voice—his authoritative and commanding tone making the question that slips out from his lips sound more like a statement.

❝   What do you want of me？  ❞

She did realize that today, of all days, he wanted to be left alone, right？ Well, Sora had given her permission to enter the establishment a few times now, and she had been able to use the projector on occasion ; that in itself was a rare privilege. Few were allowed in Sora’s abode, and fewer were allowed to use the projector freely—with Sora’s permission ( that in itself was hard to obtain. )

Tempted to give the door another knock, to prod the gentleman onward, he’d opened the door just in time to miss the beat. Lowering her fist slowly, she’d cheered, “Sora!” 

Eyes gleaming, she was happy to see the face of who she considered to be a f r i e n d. 

His tone the same as she’d last remembered, though she hesitated not to approach or speak to him. She’d just accepted this as his personality, and with a smile unwavering, she’d regarded his words. What did she want of him? - A sort of joke could probably be made here, but she wouldn’t so much as voice it. Dropping her scarf, it settled around her neck to reveal her signature smile.                                                                                “Today’s my birthday!!” 

“We can go out and do anything! You can even buy me a gift! I’ll be there with you as a reference, so if you don’t know if I’ll like something, just ask! By then I can examine it’s price and quality, and give it an acceptable rating! ~” 

This girl had g a l l. 

In the end, it was partially a j o k e. Oh no, not the whole thing- a gift was still very much welcomed; but she would readily accept any gift he was willing to give her if any. 

“I’ve nominated you as my playmate of the day! Are you honored? Too happy for words!?” Seeing as how Eruna considered an invitation from a cute girl an honor, and deemed herself as no less, how could the young man not feel blessed? 

She’d had no idea she shared her birthday with the male; not yet, anyways. But maybe this day could be great for the both of them. The sunny weather, crisp fall air, and multi-colored leaves weren’t against them- and so, what could go wrong? Eruna was positive that they could have a good time- and even more positive that he could at least have a slightly better time than he would if he were home alone.

The day’s gears were winding in their favor. With excitement coursing through every vein, she’d awaited a reply. As long as he agreed to leaving the house- or at least, to spending time with her, their day could be enjoyable-

     "Hmm how bout a place that’ll serve ice cream? it’s pretty hot so       I wouldn’t mind eating some ice cream.“

“Sure! If that’s what you want to do!” Emphasis on the *you*. It wasn’t as if he liked the delicious frozen delight. && It certainly wasn’t that many others saw it as childish, so he was embarrassed for his love of the sticky treat. The light flinch at his wag caused a slightly crooked smile to form on his face. 

Did she expect him to flick her? Because he kind of wanted to now! But as an “adult”, he would refrain. Plus, she offered to take him out for ice cream! Or rather, to go with him. Right. Ice cream would be on him today.
