you drain me. you drain me of smiles sometimes, sometimes of air, sometimes of emotions and vocabulary. you exhaust me, and i don't even know who you are.

flashing lights in paradise but all I see is you; for me, the mere presence of you is a dream come true

i used to keep my eyes peeled open for the someone you were but now, i close them in grief over the someone you've become

sometimes, when im falling asleep i feel your arm wrap around my stomach and its convincing enough of a delusion to put me to sleep

why do i act like a jerk all the time, you ask? because its way easier to show you arrogant than to show you sad

i just know it's fate when it starts raining on a good day

i despise it when you look at me like that, like my utter existence revolts you.

i dont deserve your bitterness just because you cant say it to her i dont deserve to be punished because i was in the vicinity during the aftermath of you, looking undeserved punishment in the face
