david pastrnak, who is on pace for the most goals of his career and is in contention for the league lead, gave away a guaranteed goal for himself and let bergy have it instead because it was his 1,000th game. not only does that show the kind of person and player pasta is, it tells us a lot about bergy too. he’s done so much for this team and his teammates love and respect him SO damn much. this team is a family 😭
