When your head hits the pillow tonight, remind yourself that you’ve done a good job. You are headed down your path at your own pace, and with every obstacle you are trying your utmost best. You may not be there just yet. You may only be partway there, and that’s okay. That’s completely okay. You can’t be so hard on yourself. There are many things in life that take time, patience, and a great deal of hard work. What you’ve been doing has been paying off. It has. Repeat that to yourself. Spring is peeking it’s head out from around the corner. When I wake, I can hear the birds chirp and sing to one another outside the window. The snowy days are melting into rainy days, green peeking out from under the blankets of white. The trees are not yet budding, but when I walk outside I can feel sun on my face and my cheeks warm. The world will soon be showing signs of growth; renewal. Things will be alright.
