Yeah, it was 3 years ago and an anon requested for a strong Varian, so I drew it, then got a wall of text saying the most heinous shit imaginable.

Then I was getting bombarded by a user who I didn’t agree with on a few things and tried to make it clear I wasn’t interested in continuing our interactions, but they wouldn’t stop. There was a different user (i think) who was chatting with me and I ghosted due to fear of it being the same person—which I feel a little guilty for if it wasn’t. (Plus I went a solid couple years without even really opening tumblr, let alone checking my chats and asks)

This is in honor of when I drew buff Varian for a request and subsequently received my very first online death threat

Probably not, but they didn’t meet at those ages.

If, for example, Cas and Varian met when Varian was 18 I’d have zero issues with their ship. However, they met when he was 14 and she was 21.

I don’t care about age gaps, I care about when characters are children being with characters who are not children.

It’s legit the same as a babysitter hitting on the kid they used to babysit the moment they become of age, it’s weird and offputting.

I mostly stuck to myself and one other person, but I have heard my share of horror stories. It sucks that such a small community is so hateful at times
