Some notes I made for my sociology midterm a few weeks ago. It was my first time taking a sociology course and even though I was scared about the sheer amount of content and different sociological theories, I thoroughly enjoyed it! My lecturer was super nice and taking this course had really expanded my mind in the I think and understand the workings of modern society.

if you feel overwhelmed, remember that the world around you can be stressful. sometimes it’s better to rest, gather your thoughts, pick yourself up slowly and start again. don’t feel like you’re worthless if you’re not doing anything. it’s ok to sleep more or eat more or not be as productive as usual. it’s ok to turn to comforting things for a while. just existing and breathing is enough if you’re exhausted. take care of yourself.

Haven’t been active the the study or community for a really long time (talking years over here). But I found myself in a lull recently when it came to keeping up with my studies and so I remembered that when I started this, it really did keep me motivated and got me excited about studying and I made myself so proud, which is something I’m hoping to regain as I charge up and restart :)

Made an autumn-themed spread last week and I really like it! :‘) this old vintage postcard is from a friend who lives in France and I love it so much!! I woke up at 4 am today and I‘m feeling sooo dead but I still managed to participate in a team meeting at work and finally signed my work contract :) I‘m very happy. My fifth semester starts this week and I‘m really looking forward to having lectures again 💛
