Crashy the Wonzy man

"But MK8 on the Wii U had DLC within the first six months" yeah, because the Wii U was struggling. They did it and added Nintendo characters to drive interest in it and get more people to buy it, because nobody was buying the Wii U and Nintendo were getting desperate. It took 5 years for Deluxe to get the same DLC and it can be viewed more as to retain interest in the game rather than increase with it's approach, focusing on original content, Mario characters only and fan favourites.

As for MKW, it's still alive and well. It's sold 14 million copies and counting and still has a large, active playerbase, there's no need for Nintendo to put more money into it as it's doing very well. Even still, we're getting new content (albeit small) in occasional updates. We got custom items and a new battle mode through free updates, personally I'm hoping for a 200cc update I think the intermissions could be perfect for that. Overall, I'm more than okay with the current free update output.

Now time for my biggest pet peeve about this... did we all complain about the price of this game? Why do we want to put more money into it so soon?

I got the game back in February and put roughly 20 hours into it. For my opinion, it was one of the most charming and best Mario games I've ever played. Everything about this game was joyful and a blast to play, easily one of my favourite Mario spinoffs and games in the franchise. After playing this I've had a new found love for Captain Toad and the Toad Brigade, and overall just find it being a game about Toads really cool. If you've never played this game please do.

I got 3D World + Bowser's Fury during the Mar10 sale and finished 3D World before moving onto Wonder, then returning to play Bowser's Fury after I finished Wonder. The game was alot shorter than I expected, taking roughly 2 hours to finish and 5 hours total to complete. For reference, it took me roughly 7 hours to finish 3D World.

Despite this, I really enjoyed this game. I found it fun exploring Lake Lapcat and found it to be an interesting look into what a fully fledged open world 3D Mario game could look like and I'm definitely on board with the idea.

Also as a bonus, I love how equally stupid Captain and Hint Toad are in this game. How are you being chased by Biddybuds and a Conkdor?
