Lately I have been in my thoughts about the idea of Sam and Rose.
Rose would be the first to know you are pregnant. She always following you around but there came a time when Rose followed you around more. That is the time when you started to get sick, and eventually found out you were pregnant. As your belly grew, Rose would always be near you.
When you and sam bring the baby home, Rose quickly became the gentle protector. She would often being found on the rug on the floor in front of the crib. Being the one who would always comfort the baby and always would whine when the baby would get a bath and would be out of reach from her.

He looks so much happier with Mirador. He’s playing better with Mirador. All the guys have side projects. No one is saying anything about Greta Van Fleet. Danny hasn’t been to a Mirador show. That must mean there is a rift. Danny hates GVF and he wants out. Josh is ready for his film career. Josh is doing modeling. Sam is producing. Sam is done with the music industry. Sam lost the love of his life over GVF so he wants out. It’s all stupid conjecture and dumb af.
They are on hiatus. They’ve said ad nauseum that a new album is in the works. Jake said GVF gave him a year to do Mirador. Karen & Kelly both said there is a new album & potentially a tour next year.
They ain’t going anywhere! Greta is the cash cow. They’ve built a fan base why the fuck would they give that up?
They’ve basically been on tour since 2021. Yeah SCWT was sloppy towards the end. Because they are all tired as fuck! They’ve been on the road for most of 3 years straight. Hell they only got a break in 2020 because of the pandemic. If it wasn’t for that then they would have toured then too.
Mirador is a sloppy side project. It’s not sustainable. It will never have the success that Greta does. The songs aren’t mainstream. They’re niche. Chris isn’t giving up Ida Mae and everything he and Stephanie have worked towards for it. Jake isn’t giving up the money he makes from Greta for it. Mikey & Nick are in it for the income. They know at the end of the day they are disposable. That’s why all the promo shit has focused on Jake & Chris. They get excluded on everything except the tours & the occasional picture or mention. They are extras.
Do you guys honestly think that any of the shit that Josh, Danny, or Sam are working on will sustain them?
Sam produced Hannah’s album & it went nowhere. He might have more success with Langhorne Slim (partly because he’s not a psycho.) but it isn’t going to be more successful than Greta.
What side project is Danny involved in other than producing a song for his childhood friend, playing backup in the studio for other artists, & following The Thing with Feathers around. None of the shit he dabbles in is going to give him success.
Josh isn’t doing anything that we’ve seen. Some photo shoots and attending fashion shows. He’s been meeting regularly with Ron his vocal coach. That doesn’t scream I’m about to give up my singing career and focus on film. I don’t see Josh striking out on a solo career. What would he sing that he couldn’t with Greta? He is their primary lyricist and we’ve seen multiple times >>cough cough runway blues<< that he has a hell of a lot of pull on what does and doesn’t get put into the universe. Yes in the beginning Josh was doing it to support his twin but you cannot convince me that that mother fucker isn’t loving every bit of the shit that comes with being a rock god! Dreams change as you age and while he may want to dabble in film later on he’s having way too much fun being the frontman and soaking up the attention.
They are taking time off! Period end of story. They are doing their own things because they are in their mid to late twenties and not kids anymore. They are grown ass adults with lives and relationships that exist outside of the four of them. No one knows what they are doing in their downtime or how they interact with each other outside of the random shit that gets posted on social media. No one knows if they’ve been in the studio recently or if they have been working on Promo for the new album. They could be and probably are doing little things behind the scenes. Everyone acts like they all sold their houses and moved to four corners of the earth.
Yes, they are rich by normal means, but these four don’t have Taylor or Beyoncé money. They aren’t going to just up and fuck off because Jake’s touring tiny ass venues with a novelty band. At the end of the day all of their side projects will not put food on their tables. Greta is their livelihood. It ain’t going anywhere.
