FOR THE HOMIES IN THE BACK!! And don't get me started on how the perp is viewed changes based on the color of the perp's skin. We do not live in an equal society. Is this Apartheid? No. But to paraphrase Malcolm X, atleast Apartheid was honest about it's segregation. Now we have psychological, political and economic segregation, based on the color of ones skin. Do you have any idea how much harder it is statically speaking, to get an interview if you have a black name? Do you realize that people freak out when a black football player kneels in to signify injustice in America, all whilst the last verse of the national anthem is insanely racist. Talking about killing slaves in a jovial manner. I don't care if that verse actually gets played at events or not. We still use a national anthem where the author wrote about killing slaves in jest, in the same song!! Take where we live for what it is. A land of many opportunities, on a slanted scale, built upon the backs of injustice.
