Let me explain this:

Hoonis has been admiring Darles since he was young and after he became known for hosting "Ghost of the Year", he was noticed by Darles, who is now the CEO of Wallowad Ent.

Big companies always have its dark secrets. Hoonis sticks to Darles even if he knows all the dark stuff going on, and systematically tries to convince Darles to stop that.

These two are close in some way. Platonically?Romantically? It's something difficult. They don't even know. I wouldn't consider Darles as a manipulative guy, but he definitely has some influence on how Hoonis acts.

Those people who are also behind Wallowad Ent. are aware of what Hoonis is trying to do and eventually will try to get him out of their way. Hoonis somehow manages to save himself from all that stuff (Darles did help him secretly in some things, but he didn't notice)

Hoonis did notice something strange in Darles. He managed to change some of the things going on but Darles didn't stop him. Darles perfectly knew what he was doing, Darles was trying to do that all the way through.

Maybe they're both trying to stop them after all.
