Who is your favorite oc and why? Which are your favorite to draw or just create for in general?
Ohhhhh, uno reverse, eh? Okay, I’ll do my best to answer lol
So, Laizr is my favorite oc, full stop. He was my first completely original idea and design, since before then all of my ocs were heavily based on the official Sonic characters. I’ve been proud of his design ever since his second iteration. The first was….ehhhhhh. LOL
Tbh, Laizr is also my favorite oc to consistently draw. But -unfortunately- one of my favorite things to do is design new ocs, so my favorite oc to draw is whatever new one I’ve come up with this day/week/month. That said, I do have some other favorites for different reasons.
Blizzie here is my first persona! She was created before Laizr, and she’s meant to be the main character of a story I want to write that I’ve been noodling around with for ages. I can’t make a favorite OCs list without her. She’s very important to me! Right beside Blizzie is her partner Kezador. Ngl he was originally made to be my ideal guy, but he very quickly became much more than that!
A set of characters I had a huge fixation on were Nero and Zyus. Nero is Kezador’s cousin, but the fact that he looks like Kezador had nothing to do with my fixation on him lol I genuinely had so much fun building out his and Zyus’ relationship and storylines. But wow I owe them some new art. lol This isn’t my favorite look for these two 😂
There are definitely more, but I’m sure this post is long enough already? So for the last bit I’ll say my newest OCs that I’m currently fixated on are June, Sazerac, and Star! June is Sazerac’s great-great grandkid (?), and Sazerac and Star are partners. Funny story is that…I feel like Sazerac’s design isn’t finished yet. I’m not 100% satisfied with their finished body shape and patterns, but I love them as a character. I’ve put a lot of love into them. :)
