Tried out the palette and some decals on the body. I get HMM Empire Zoids more frequently that my leftover Republic decals are in short supply unfortunately.

Gojulas Mariner No.18 so far.

So! There are two very specific variants bearing the name Mariner: No.17 and No.18. No kits were made of them.

No.17 still looked like a Gojulas but with aquatic equipment. It can work both on land and in water.

No.18 is an entirely different beast.

I figured using the old Gojulas kit would be better because it is cheaper and closer to the art. The posture, however, required modifications to the peg placements. Of course, it needed a new set of armor and equipment as well. I had to use all my tools for this one. It's like building cosplay armor - only way, way smaller. There's lots of sanding.
