You can have a favourite character and still hate and be angry at them for doing something wrong, you don't need to excuse them or forget what they did.

You can like the villain but hate his cause, just because you like their designs and their character doesn't mean they have to be good or you need to change them so you don't feel bad about liking them.

Especially with mythology, almost all of the gods are obliviously bad, because they don't have our same morality, but if you like them it doesn't mean you are a bad person

For example I like Apollo but I don't ignore everything he did and brought himself because he was too arrogant (in god's level).

Like for Daphne, yes Eros made him obsessed and her repulsed, but he boasted his ability in front of Eros and made fun of him

I always have conflicted feelings about Patroclus and Apollo T-T

Like Apollo was mean for killing Patroclus but he was literally doing his job as the protector of Troy and making sure the fate ran his right course

And Patroclus did not listen to Achilles so... But still man T-T

PLS they definitely switched!
