Digital art is the way I make art, its how I started out in middle/high school. It was a huge upgrade from sheets of college rule paper, in place of school notes I should of been taking instead. Maybe it was because I was younger, but the drive and passion was there. I don't know what happened, exactly, or if there's a single point I can pin on being the start of a slow decline, but that same drive isn't here. It hasn't been for a long time.

I want to call it burn out, but can that even last for as long as mine has? To just look at my art tablet and feel the wall of mental exhaustion that's dug into the foundation and made itself home for a few years now? I shouldn't have to fight tooth and nail to do what I have always loved to do, yet I am. I wish I could blame the global pandemic but this started long before any of that.

I am fucking exhausted.
