cpxelioâ:
It took every fiber in Elioâs being to keep himself from stepping back in absolute disgust or simply charm the drunk Gryffindor away from his personal space with a quick swish of his wand. Heâd rather put up with booze breath and annoying demeanor from Castor than showing he was affected in anyway by his words or presence.
He huffed at the otherâs words, obviously affected, as the image of Jihyuck leaning down to kiss CĂŠleste still burned fresh on the back of his mind.
âCould you be any more curt in the way you put things,â he commented with a wry smile, carefully swatting Castorâs hand away from his face only for the other to pick up some strands of his hair (how dare he) and then drape an arm around Elioâs shoulders.
Uncomfortable would be an euphemism to describe Elio at that moment.
Castor was right though, if he was being honest. Everyone knew Elio had been crushing on CĂŠleste for the longest time and that the Ravenclaw boy was the last person he could stand around his crush.Â
It was with a contradicted sigh that Elio answered Castor. âYes, yes i do. Heâs not man enough for her, he never will be.â
Castor was enjoying it too much. Seeing the annoyance in the slytherinâs face almost made his day.
âI doubt you are too but... At this moment, yes better you with CĂŠleste than Jihyuck.â he poked the cheek of the other, feigning a small pout. âYou are many things but you understand what it is like to take care of a team. Needing to win. And right now, that relationship is ruining everything, isnât it?â
He was better than that. He knew he could be better than that. But Castor was tired, exhausted even of having to keep up the façade of the always righteous and fair. The perfect one. He had wants and needs and he was tired of having to give those up in order to do the right thing.
Plus no one comes between him and his glory.
âWhat if we break them up? That way you get the girl and I get Jih-- my victories.â he grins easily and pats Elioâs shoulder, covering his small slip up and hoping that for once the Slytherin hadnât picked up on it.

cpxelioâ:
Celebrating their victory in that specific pub had been a decision Elio quickly grew to regret.
Donât get him wrong, by any means was he displeased with all the attention and all the cheering, itâs just that he was used to a more orderly type of celebration, a fancier one if you may.Â
Heâd only abide to this specific type of common party after a few drinks, and unfortunately he was short of those, the same couldnât be said about his star player however, Mark was on some extreme level of embarrassing after only two glasses of god knows what.
Annoyed with Markâs imitation of a monkey, Elio decided to split from the sea of green uniforms and scarves.
He was forcing himself to stay sober to keep an eye on his friends. Everyone had been behaving in a suspicious manner lately, but also, he was trying to keep an eye on CĂŠleste, having eavesdropped on Castor reprimanding her the previous game. The girl certainly neednât to deal with her captainâs shortcomings that way, and if Elio could ever come to play a knight in shining armor role by stepping in her defense, he would.
His eyes quickly skimmed the crowded space; he spotted Christopher chatting with a bunch of girls from different houses, probably from the same year; Vincent searching for someone (Elio could only hope it wasnât him); Junjie staring at a glass, probably thinking, definitely about something Elio wouldnât care to know, maybe a card was feeling sad or whatever. And finally, the Gryffindor duo in a corner.
Castor seemed to be calm, despite having lost. Thatâs a first, he thought. He seemed to be talking to a girl, and Elio really didnât need to go around to see it was CĂŠleste - as creepy as it was, he could spot her in any crowd from any angle, no other girlâs hair curled that delicately at the ends.
He stood where he was, quietly looking at the two who were then suddenly joined by a third element.
Jihyuck.
Elio tried his best to keep his emotions away from his face, a neutral, strained expression the most he could achieve, even when the Ravenclaw leaned closer to CĂŠleste to kiss her lips and he felt his blood boil.
âCongratulations once again Cap! I brought you a drink!â Some Slytherin girlâs voice echoed near him, bringin him back to reality, and in a split second his trademark grin returned to his features before he could answer her.
âThank you so much,â he said in a polite, cheery tone, taking the drink. Was that one of the new prefect girls? He simply hadnât the mind to pretend to care for these people, not when the image of Jihyuck kissing CĂŠleste seemed to still burn on the back of his eyeball and mind.Â
âSorry dear, youâll have to excuse me for a second,â he said, downing the drink after and giving the girl the now empty glass before making his way towards the back door.Â
He could feel his emotions taking over to some extent. Jealousy and anger mostly, and he could actually feel them morphing the colour of his hair into some shade of red - that was an annoying part of being a metamorphagus, at times he had no control of his power when strong emotions dethroned his rationality. At least it only affected his hair colour.
Elio was only a few steps into the alley when he heard the back door of the pub squeak open, promptly followed by Castorâs voice. The Gryffindor seemed to have been drinking prodigiously, if only he had his twinâs drinking habits.
Elio slowly turned around, his eye almost twitching at both the newfound nickname and the mention of CĂŠleste.
âWhat about her?â He said in a calm tone, his hair going back to itâs usual shade of pink. âDonât tell me youâre gonna blame her for your poor strategy in todayâs game.â
He raised an eyebrow as he witnessed the pink returning to the slytherinâs hair and snorted at his statement in a feeble attempt to hide the annoying fact that he had lost. Again.
âPfft please you were just lucky you caught the snitch.â his tongue still felt heavy and he shook his head to snap out of it, forcing him to stumble closer to his nemesis. âBut yes... I am sure you have noticed how our darling CĂŠleste has been a bit off? Distracted maybe?â his lips stretched into a grin and his voice lowers to an almost a purr as he kept stepping closer, a task proven difficult with the ammount of booze in his system. âWith all that tongue in her mouth?â he continued and waved his fingers in front of Elioâs mouth with a chuckle, wishing to see his hair change, wanting to piss him off the same way he pissed Castor off with his smugness.
But it also made his heart shake with anger again just by mentioning it. Recalling the way Jihyuck smirked and kissed her. It only made sense to Castor. That relationship was only holding CĂŠleste and Castorâs team back since they kept losing to the point that even Hufflepuff was playing better than them and that was absolutely unforgiveable. He needed his star player back.
He also wanted Jihyuck.
He daringly picked at a few strands of Elioâs hair before drapping an arm heavily around his shoulders with a wicked grin. Wow, alcohol really made him braver than usual.
âNow lets go straight to the point... You wish it was you instead of Jihyuck right?â

The Three Broomsticks
After the Quidditch game
He hated to lose. Especially when itâs against Slytherins.
He stumbled his way closer to the back of the pub, hoping the discreet place would be enough to take a breather from everyone for a minute or two. Itâs one of the downsides of being the captain and almost a celebrity in his school, the need to always be polite, smile, laugh along to stupid jokes that werenât funny at all was constant. It was nice to put down the mask once in awhile.
He winked and raised his glass, lips curling in a wide grin at his best friend CĂŠleste. He knew she was also feeling as sour as him after the loss, after all she was equally as competitive as him (if not more). Castor felt a wave of relief and happiness as she smiled amused at Castor, who was slumped on a chair with probably one of the goofiest grins thanks to the alcohol, and waved her fingers back.Â
Man, Castor was just relieved they had managed to patch things over the last week after he had been an asshole to his friend. He yelled at her, picked on her over practice and pretty much dumped all his worries and frustration, including their defeats on his friend unfairly. Thankfully he came to his senses and managed to apologise properly and open up about his troubles the other week after their win. The celebrated after and all was well again, to Castorâs relief.
He watches a familiar figure approaching and Castorâs heart leaps only to sink soon after when he sees her boyfriend.Â
Jihyuck had a lazy grin as he looked around before leaning in to whisper something in CĂŠlesteâs ear with a small smirk, which in turn made the girl giggle sheepish behind her hand. Castorâs fingers tightened around his glass and his smile faltered on his lips, a wave of jealousy and plain irritation made his blood rush to his face as he watched the intimate exchange between the couple. Jihyuckâs eyes never left a certain part of the bar as the couple exchanged some words and Castor could hardly believe his eyes when Jihyuckâ smirk widens and the beautiful Ravenclaw leans in to press a long kiss to CĂŠlesteâs lips.
Castor felt breathless and scowled at the scene, vision clouded with bitter jelousy as the boy pulled away with a bright grin and stared pointedly at someone else across the room. The pink haired captain and nemesis of Castorâs from Slytherin, who was also watching the couple with a strained expression. It was quickly replaced by his usual smug grin as someone next to him spoke yet he excused himself after a moment, quickly downing the rest of his drink, grabbing another one and moved with ease towards the back exit, not even noticing Castorâs gaze on him.
Suddenly everything made sense. Dating was obviously a bad thing for CĂŠleste, it distracted her. Gryffindor had never lost these many games before and if Castor wanted to keep his reputation as captain of mighty Gryffindor he had to do something.
Castor was suddenly on his feet, being able to work through the sudden wave of dizziness and pushing through the crowd, he followed Elio outside into the quiet, cold alley as a bad idea starts to form in his brain. It was stupid, he knew it was stupid but he was tired. He wanted something to go right for him at least once.
âYou.â he calls out in a surprisingly steady voice, pointing at Elioâs back and swallowing the rest of his drink in one go, grimacing slightly as he waits for the slytherin to turn around to face him.
âWe needa talk, sunshine. Itâs about CĂŠleste.âÂ
Hmm these new kids are hecka good... I should be careful next year...

ă The lost magical music boxă
It had been a few years since Castor encountered the small object abandoned on the street, demanding Jihyuck and Vincent to explain to him what it was and how it worked. His playlist doesnât differ much from the songs he found in that mp3 that day with exception of a few jams he added, mostly because of Vincent.
What? The dude had good taste.
cpxjunjieâ:

Itâs been nail-biting tense in the Hogwarts field today but alas Gryffindor caught the Snitch, making their points round up to 550! Congratulations Gryffindor! Lions of Godric make some noise!
But what is worth to be praised, praised shall be. Slytherin had one hell of an MVP out here tonight, can i get the biggest round of applause for Mark Lee everyone?! Put those palms together, this young beater singlehandedly earned Slytherin 300 points! What a beast.
Well this concludes this Saturdayâs match, donât forget your homeworks for monday and I suppose Gryffindor will later head down to the Three Broomsticks for a joined celebration.
Thank you for tuning in today, and in case anyone needs a look into their future or free potions, Iâm not available. Best regards, Junjie Huang, your one and only temporary announcer.Â

As Castor drags him outside, Vincent opts to simply keep his mouth shut, why bother if the other would pay him no mind.Â
Although, if heâs being honest, the prospect of a bruise on his arm is upsetting him a little bit, Castor couldâve loosened the grip upon noticing Vincent was cooperating, but no, dude had to Gryffindor till the end, didnât he.
Vincentâs eyebrow arches up as he sees Castor take out a photograph from his book. Wasnât that the same type of photo that would come out of Christopherâs camera?Â
Castorâs blunt statement triggers a sense of curiosity to bloom in Vincent. He remembered something about that night, perhaps there was more to Gryffindorâs persistence and stubbornness than Vincent ever gave them credit for. The photograph didnât lead to much, just Castorâs hand grasping the key, nothing too sinister there.
Vincent shrugs, looking away from the piece of paper. âYeah,â he says simply. âYou agreed to help me look for a thing.â
That, of course, was putting it lightly. Vincent had badgered Castor for days so the latter could help him sneak into professor Jeremyâs office. Upon scavenging all over Hogwarts for a specific object, heâd reached the conclusion that such a thing would most likely be stored in one of the History of Magic Professorâs drawers.Â
The man had been the one to have showed them what a time turner was back in year two after all.
âI donât remember anyone else with us though, so i have no idea how that photo couldâve been taken.â He was speaking the truth, he remembered the sneaking in part, Castor being more nervous than he probably should, given his background of getting Pollux out of trouble. What he really had no memory of was a camera snapping a photo.
Castor blinks dumbly at the Ravenclaw and at his casual demeanor. It put him on edge. âAgreed? I agreed to break curfew and the professorâs rules to help you look for something?â he scoffed and slipped the picture back in his book. Castor closed his eyes and forced himself to calm down, taking a deep breath. He was simply helping out a friend. Thatâs something he saw himself doing especially with Vincent. It made sense.
âIâm sorry. That was uncalled for.â he ends up mumbling out, eyes looking away both in shame at his small outburst and to look for any signs of life around them. Imagining the wild rumours that would travel the school halls like wild fire if anyone saw Vincent and Castor at that moment, was enough to almost make him snort at the ridiculousness but luckily they were still alone. And he needed answers.
âBut Vincent...â he takes a step towards the older one and leans in close, voice hushed and deep, a basic Pollux move. Super effective in intimidating someone into getting the truth out of them without magic. If there was anything else the Ravenclaw remembered he needed to know. He stares directly into Vincentâs eyes, unblinking.Â
âYou sure there is nothing else you remember?â
cpxvincentâ:
Helping out with the magical creatures had some perks: spending time with said creatures, chances of better grade, some house points⌠He could name a few more if he was asked to, but none of those compensated for the fact Vincent would always end up smelling like all sorts of creature and their food for the entirety of any Monday.
Since heâd started helping out around his 6th year at Hogwarts he developed a small trick to get over the unpleasant smell that latched onto his clothes. Lavender.
His pockets were always filled with lavender flowers, it was almost sickening to some extent, but it worked far too well for him to care at this point.Â
The herbology professor would even occasionally chase after him, threatening to take points from Ravenclaw the way he took lavender from the greenhouse.
Vincentâs on his way back to the Ravenclaw tower after a few hours browsing the library, already longing for a nice, warm shower, when he suddenly bumps into someone, an apology promptly escaping his lips even when he feels a grip tightening on his arm.
He first looks at the hand before looking at the face of none other than Castor. âHey dudââ his words get cut by the way Castor was looking at him. Had he done something wrong lately? That was an expression he was used to see on the light haired twin, not so much on the brunet.
âMas isto agora ĂŠ assim?â the words in portuguese escape him as Castor begins dragging him outside, the Gryffindorâs behaviour triggering the mindless shift in idiom and a fight or flight stance on the Ravenclaw. Â
He heard the olderâs complaints in portuguese echo and Castor turned his head to shush him, not bothering to even try to understand his words as kept dragging the boy outside the castle, far enough to make sure no one could hear them. Gossip travels fast and he simply couldnât risk having anyone other than Vincent know about his memory for now, at least until he figured out what had happened with him. One could only hope.
He stops and faces the shorter boy, lips in a thin line as adrenaline rushed in his blood, eyes searching frantically around them while he opened his book and took out the picture of that night. A hand, his hand, snatching the key to professor Jeremyâs office.
âWe were together that night.â he speaks quietly, eyes finally falling onto Vincentâs after making sure they were alone. He couldnât help his bluntness, maybe it was the need to confide in someone and Vincent was the only one at that moment he could trust. They were close to the edge of the Forbidden Forest now, it was quiet and empty enough he hoped.
âI- I found a picture on the corridor and I remembered I was with you the night of the murder, Vincent.â he continues in a hushed tone however turning the picture towards the boy. Maybe it would trigger his memory too.
âWe were using that key to get into the professorâs office, do you remember?â
