"Cálmate, you don't even know what I was going to ask." Nico couldn't help the snicker he gave as he eyed the person in front of him. "You seem intimidated."
Jasper set his jaw and glanced back at the vampire, his eyes running up the length of the other man's body before he scoffed. "Intimidated? No. Just not interested in what you have to say. There's a difference. " He motioned to him with his eyebrows raised. "You're not the kind of company I like to keep."

Taylor was growing bored. And frustrated. Peter seemed to be dedicating all of his time nowadays to Wendy (ugh) and it was getting harder and harder to sit idly by and not take action. If he wanted to leave her with the rest of the Lost Boys all day to go play recruitment, then she could pay a visit to an old friend at the docks. She knew it would absolutely infuriate Peter, but maybe that was the goal. Or maybe a small part of her genuinely wanted to see how Jasper was doing, even if she wouldn't admit it.
So Taylor stood there and watched for a few moments in stealthy silence as Jasper set up the dock lines. When he was finished, she finally made her presence known as she crossed her arms and slowly leaned against the mast. "Are you sure you should even be doing all of this alone? What if you throw your old back out or something?"
The sound of her voice startled him, but he stifled his reaction down to turning to look at her and then rolling his eyes. "My back is just fine, thank you." He twirled part of the rope around on his hook and then gave one last tug to make sure everything was secure before stepping back on deck.
"What are you doing on my ship?" Jasper walked right past her as he spoke, purposefully not looking at her. He got to work gathering a up a net to be put away, trying not to appear distracted even though he was doing a pretty horrible job at condensing it down. He and the crew had been on the water for a few days straight and they were all eager to get into town once they docked, so he let them go and now was left to finish the rest on his own. "If Peter has something to say to me, he can come here himself."
