Intermediate School Nostalgia

I redesigned the character from my last post! I think this is a good improvement after listening to your guys' advice :3

For the first one I really like the hearts! Those are a really good thru line but the shirt is too busy and competing with an already busy fur pattern. I would make the shirt have a simpler pattern, like a single heart or a heart within hearts sort of thing.

I also really like the browns and pinks, they play nicely together without competing, but I would try a cooler more black blue for the eyes. It feels too saturated compared to the pinks and browns. I would also try to add at least one more blue element, like blue gems in the tiara, hearts on the shoes and maybe even the shirt sleeves in a lighter blue/white blue to imply they're transparent to tie in the highlights of the eyes.

For the second one I feel like the blond in the hair goes much better with the brown then the blond on the arms due to how much warmer it is. Try making the primary fore limbs that colour, and if you want a lighter blond in some way try it with the finger and toe tips, and that you can keep the lighter blond in the face, so it both doesn't blend in with the hair nor end up looking out of place.

I also like how on the limb that isn't holding the plushy as a more "wavy" connection to the brown fur, I feel like the orange shorts either need to be hit shorter to show that on the legs or the brown needs to extend past them some. The fur going from that light blond into the bright orange is a hard contract, and having a warm brown acting as a buffer should help!

I also feel like the blue and green on the shoes should be more desaturated to pair better with the orange shorts. Right now the blue on green is a bit of an eyestrain, which doesn't seem to be the intention with the warmer colours being predominantly used. It is very cute how they pair with the plushy though!
