I haven’t drawn anything historically accurate because the time period it’s set in is very vague lol. It WAS going to be set in the Regency era but I had to walk back on that decision because the fashion was super restrictive and I couldn’t really express the characters personality with it.

I know you likely have never seen him before but…I hope I’m not the only one who sees it 😭

is it all on a doc? A journal? From memory?

Number 2: what are some of the main inspirations for the blind prince (might sound crazy but dare I say the CRUEL prince was one of them based of of old posts???? 👀)

Number three; HIIIII!!!!! You’re a really big inspiration for me and honestly I don’t use WEBTOON anymore for anything besides the blind prince. I think it’s very underrated and you deserve more recognition for your hard work. Thank you so much for making this comic and inspiring so many other artists.

1. It’s all in google docs haha. I share my scripts with my co writer a lot as well as my editors and it makes it easier to access on my phone while I’m on the go. I also have tons of notes in my notes app, it’s handy to sync with my iPad. I tried to use notion, and while it’s great, it’s a bit slow to upload my files online, so it kept giving me issues.

2. I LOVE the Cruel prince, and I think I can say it was a stepping stone in the direction for TBP, but in my view they have completely opposite aesthetics. I don’t consider TbP to be in the same realm of the “fae”, and the story is not nearly as dark or gloomy as TCP. During time I was writing TBP I was reading LOTS of fairytale retellings and watching Disney movies and checking out children’s books for inspiration. TCP was one of many.
