for that one person who liked my post, here's some fun headcanon/au stuff for Idate and Takama.

Long hair for orcas mean they are associated with a pack/tribe of orcas, if you cut your hair it means you're either unaffiliated or exiled.

Idate (white shirt) and Takama (darker/black shirt) were born into a matriarchal society and kicked onto the ice when they were children to see if they'd survive. Idate was the more outgoing one and kept his brother alive originally and was the reason Takama came back at all into their parents village.

Takama didn't have the same vicious streak as most other orcas, especially his brother Idate, who after they were taken back in was looked at as a trouble maker/horrible son, making him constantly being beaten and kicked out of the house, where-as Takama was made to study and be a 'model kid'.

Takama eventually believed the comments his parents made about Idate being horrible, awful, and used him as a scapegoat.
