okay but since midoriya went through a lot of stress,,, would a whole kaneki ken happen and his hair would turn white?
An interesting concept
Bonus:
Okay is it just me or does your (amazing) comic look like a mix between digital and traditional? Like dude what program do you use? It looks awesome!
It is a mix! I sketched and line the comic traditionally:
Then I took pictures of the lined pages and uploaded them on Medibang Paint where I adjusted the levels, hues, and extracted the lines. Now, Medibang Paint’s eyedropper tool sucks, so I saved the image as a .psd and then opened it in Clip Studio Paint where I colored it!

Out of Reach (Nomu! Deku AU) Chp. 1
Everybody from class 1-A was there, standing directly in front of the television. Walking up to the small crowd, Uraraka tried to peer through them to see what they were looking at.
“What’s going on?” She asked, hopping a little to try and see over their heads.
“Can’t tell.” Said Mina next to her, crossing her arms. “Hey guys, can we-“
But everybody was chattering too much to even remotely hear what she had said. By the looks on their faces, something serious was going on.
“HEY.” A loud, harsh voice behind Uraraka made her jump. Bakugo appeared beside her. Suddenly, everybody turned to look at them. “MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. WE CAN’T SEE.”
Slowly, their classmates parted, making a path for them. When they did, they could see Todoroki, standing directly in front of the television set.
Angrily, Bakugo stepped forward. “Hey Icy Hot, move your ass!”
But if Todoroki heard him, he made no indication of moving out of the way. Sighing loudly, Bakugo walked up beside him, pushing him lightly on the shoulder. Though he wobbled slightly, he still didn’t move, his eyes fixated on the TV.
“Hey, I said-“ Bakugo started, but stopped short when he saw what was playing. It was a popular news channel, with a woman reporter standing in front of a building surrounded by police cars. Her face looked somber as she starred into the camera, as a banner of bright red words flashed at the bottom of the screen.
WAREHOUSE OF MYSTERIOUS MONSTERS DISCOVERED. CLUES TO MISSING UA STUDENT INSIDE?
As soon as Uraraka saw the words, her heart leaped in her chest. She tried listening closely to the words the reporter was saying, but with all the chatter of her classmates around her, all of the words blurred together. Apparently, a band of thugs had stumbled on an abandoned warehouse full of strange monsters-nomu-and now, the police had raided it and found mysterious files inside.
Photo scanned copies of some of the files popped up on the screen. Uraraka was half surprised they were showing them at all, but the media must have gotten their hands on them before the pros could stop them. The weirdest thing about the files, however, wasn’t the fact that they were written on light red paper, or that they were written in such light ink that they were barely readable. No, the weirdest thing about them was that instead of letters, they were covered in strange symbols, like some sort of coded message.
Even through the screen, it was clear how anxious the reporter was. If her white-knuckled grip on her microphone didn’t give her away, she surely wasn’t fooling anybody with her stiff, shaking shoulders.
“Though no professionals have been able to decode the message, it is suspected that there may be some connection to the warehouse and a missing UA student. Less than five days ago, a UA student training camp was attacked by the infamous League of Villains. At the training camp, student Izuku Midoriya was reportedly swept into the air by a monster, similar to the ones found here.”
A picture of Midoriya popped up on the screen, and everybody froze. It was a photo of his school ID, and Uraraka couldn’t help but think that the picture didn’t do Deku any justice. Of course, school photo IDs never did, but this one especially. Deku’s hair looked too neat, his smile too forced. Looking at it, Uraraka couldn’t help but miss his messy, curled hair and his careless, kind smile.
“He has yet to be found, but had sustained many serious injuries at the time of capture.”
The words she was saying made Uraraka sick. She knew this. She was there when it happened. Still, every time she heard people talk about it, it felt as if it had just happened.
“Because of the similarity of the monsters here to the ones that took Izuku Midoriya, there is some speculation that the mysterious coded messages could give hints to the missing student’s location.”
Suddenly, Bakugo growled. “Are you kidding me?! They don’t even know if those papers say anything important at all, so why are they spouting nonsense? This is supposed to be a news channel, not some conspiracy bullshit.”
Beside her, Mina sighed. “Well, at least it’s something, right?”
Uraraka nodded. “I bet the pro heroes aren’t too excited about the media posting photos of those files, though.”
“Yes, you’re probably right.” Iida said, his eyes laser focused on the TV, “They probably grabbed them before anybody had the chance to analyze their importance.”
Gulping, Uraraka pushed a stray piece of hair behind her ear. “D-do you guys really think that those papers say anything about…about Deku?”
“We can only hope.” Said Iida, “But for now, we have class in about thirty minutes.”
“I don’t think I’m gonna be able to focus much in class today.” Kaminari admitted, scratching the back of his head.
Nodding, Iida grabbed the remote from the coffee table and shut off the TV. “That may be so, but Mr. Aizawa said that routine was the best way to get us back to feeling as though everything were normal.”
Suddenly, Todoroki turned around, rolling his eyes. “Back to normal? Surely you’re joking.”
Iida looked slightly confused. “I’m quite sure Sensei had no humorous intent. He seemed very serious.”
Todoroki just sighed. “Right. We should get going, then.”
Normally, the minutes before homeroom started were filled with continuous chatter and the scolding’s of Iida for everybody to take their seats. But for the past few days, class 1-A had been unnaturally despondent. Today was just the same, and any talking was kept to a minimum, whispered between those sitting next to each other.
It wasn’t long before their homeroom teacher entered the room, scuffy-looking as ever.
When he got to the front table, he sighed. “So. I’m all sure you watched this morning’s broadcast.”
The class was completely silent, averting their eyes.
“Unfortunately, the media was able to release the files before anybody could stop them.” He said, “But thankfully, the files are unreadable anyway. Or so we thought.”
At those words, the entire class perked up. “Wait, what do you mean?!” Kirishima asked, his eyes wide.
Aizawa took a deep breath. “Well, I’m sure most of you are aware of one of our third year teachers, Hckr. She’s a highly-skilled pro with the power to hack into any machine.”
Some of the young heroes nodded. She had substituted for their class once when All Might couldn’t be there. Uraraka had taken a special liking to her, because she had managed to fix her phone, which had been malfunctioning for months.
“She was able to find out what the coded messages said. Turns out, they used some kind of out-of-date hacker coding that not many people know about anymore.”
Uraraka’s eyes widened. “Wait, so what do they say? Is there anything about-“
“That’s classified information.” Aizawa told them, crossing his arms, “The files getting out was bad enough, but thankfully, there’s not many people who use that kind of coding system anymore.”
Near the front of the room, Kirishima pounded angrily on the desk. “What?! So you’re not going to tell us?”
Kamari pouted. “What the heck man? You can’t just open the can and not spill the beans!”
Aizawa scowled at him. “It’s for your own protection. If you knew what the files said, you might be tempted to do something stupid.”
“So the files do have something to do with Midoriya!” Kirishima exclaimed.
“I didn’t say that.”
“But why would we want to do something if Midoriya wasn’t involved?” Mina spoke up, “And shouldn’t we deserve to know if something has happened to our friend?”
“We’re finished with this conversation.” Aizawa said, turning towards the blackboard, “We have to get started on today’s lesson.”
Uraraka didn’t know what to think. She understood why the pros were keeping the information a secret, but all of the students had been so closely involved with the incident, it seemed wrong of them to not let them know what was going on. Part of her wanted to say something, even though it would probably be rude of her to do so. Frustration began to build in her chest as she tried to decide what to, when all of a sudden, Kirishima stood up from his seat.
“There’s at least pros working to save Midoriya, isn’t there?” He yelled. Uraraka’s eyes widened. She’d never seen him this serious before.
Aizawa sighed, not even bothering to turn around. “At this moment? No.”
Gasps and exchanged glances flooded the classroom. Kirishima clenched his fists. “What? Why?!”
Still, Aizawa didn’t turn to face them. Uraraka wasn’t sure if it was because he didn’t want to or because he couldn’t. “Right now, the villains know we know where they are. If pros went after them know, they’d be expecting us. We wouldn’t be able to catch them off guard.”
“But does that really matter?” Mina asked, “If there’s a chance of saving Midoriya-“
“I didn’t say I agreed with their decision.” Aizawa snapped, “I said that’s what’s happening.”
“Wait a second.” Todoroki spoke up, jumping to his feet “So nobody’s even looking for Midoriya at all?”
Uraraka suddenly felt sick again. How on Earth could the heroes not be looking for him? When were they going to? Were they just going to give up? These were all questions she wanted to ask, but couldn’t work up the nerve.
“Todoroki, Kirishima, sit down.” Aizawa commanded.
“This is a hostage situation!” Todoroki sounded more angry than Uraraka had ever seen him. It was strange, it wasn’t like him to be so defiant. Especially not in class. “If nobody does anything, Midoriya could die!”
Suddenly, Aizawa spun around, glaring deadly daggers at Todoroki. “And how many people do you think will die if the heroes initiate an attack on the people who have their fingers on the button that releases unkillable monsters?”
Todoroki was silent.
“It takes about three pro heroes just to take down one of those things, and the fact that we’ve found a new warehouse full of them this morning only shows that they have more of them than we originally thought. Thankfully, the police officers that went into the place knew what they were doing. If they didn’t, the nomu would have woken up, and half the city might have been taken over by now.”
Slowly, Kirishima sat back down in his seat, staring at his desk. But Todoroki stood still, his eyes steely and cold as he looked at their teacher.
“It’s not that we don’t want to help Midoriya, or that we’re planning to abandon him.” Aizawa told them, “We’re standing on a minefield right now, and if we make one wrong move, it could spell disaster.”
Still, Todoroki didn’t look satisfied. “But-“
Aizawa sighed. “Sit down, Todoroki. We’re done talking about this.”
Angry and slightly embarrassed, Todoroki plopped back down into his seat. Uraraka could tell she wasn’t the only one surprised by Todoroki’s actions. Looking across the row at Momo, the two exchanged glances.
Today was sure to be interesting.
**************************
Despite everything else that was going wrong, Midoriya could only think of his friends.
When All for One had first put his hand to his face, Midoriya thought he was killing him. The poor boy could feel his body practically tearing itself apart from the inside out. It was like someone had lit a fire inside of his muscles, and even though he screamed himself hoarse, All for One made no motion to stop.
Midoriya really started to panic, though, when his vision began to fade. It had been maybe five minutes, though for the poor boy it had felt like hours. When he began to see spots, he was sure he was as good as dead. Though he was already crying, fresh tears formed in his eyes. All he could think about was his mom and prayed with all his heart that somebody would come to the door and break it to her gently, that she wouldn’t find out from the news or from a phone call.
He couldn’t help but think about how much he had let All Might down. He had been chosen, specifically, to help save the world, and he couldn’t even make it to get his hero license. Maybe when I’m gone, he thought, One for All will get transferred back to All Might. He’ll be able to choose a new successor who will do a better job.
The urge to go to sleep was now more powerful than ever, and as the world faded into darkness, he began to wonder who the next symbol of peace would be. Maybe Uraraka, he thought dazedly, She would be perfect for the job, she’s so nice. I’m going to miss her…
And then everything went dark.
When he came to, his first thought was that he would get to see his father again. For a moment, he couldn’t wait to open his eyes, before he realized that the pain he had felt before wasn’t gone. Opening his eyes, he realized that he hadn’t died at all. He was, miraculously, still alive. Less miraculous, however, was the fact that he was still in that damn chair, still restrained, and felt as though he’d been beaten with a baseball bat.
Using all of the strength he had left, he struggled against the restraints once again. None of them budged, and he was starting to feel panicky. He had to get out before All for One came back.
“Here, let me help you with that.”
Gasping, he looked up. Standing in front of him, dimly lit by the flickering ceiling light above, was none other than Kaminari.
He blinked several times, hardly believing his eyes, before breaking out into a smile. “K-Kaminari!” He exclaimed, his voice raw and scratchy, “H-how did you find me? I-I just-“ He shook his head. “No, never mind. You can explain later. Let’s just get out of here first.”
Nodding, Kaminari ran up to the chair and knelt down, removing the restraints with ease. Midoriya couldn’t fathom how he had done that, but he didn’t have time to think about it now. Though every joint and muscle screamed in pain, he managed to get himself up and take a few steps forward.
“This way.” Kaminari said, walking towards a door that had previously been behind Midoriya’s line of sight. Quickly and quietly, he followed him through the door, only to find that the new room they were in was even darker than the one before. Behind him, he heard the door slam.
“Uh, Kaminari?” Midoriya asked, “I can’t see anything.”
Suddenly, an explosion of light filled the room. Yelping, Midoriya covered his eyes. It took a good minute for him to be able to even vaguely see what was going on.
Kaminari was standing at the light switch, smirking at him. “Better?”
Reluctantly, Midoriya nodded. “Y-yeah, thanks.”
Turning around, he saw what kind of room they were in. It seemed to be some kind of operating room, with a table in the middle of the room, a huge overhead light, and lots of medical tools lying around. The weird thing, however, was that there weren’t any windows or doors, other than the one they had just came through. Confused, Midoriya turned back to Kaminari.
“Kaminari?” He asked, “I don’t think this is the exit.”
Kaminari nodded. “Yes, I know.”
Suddenly, Kaminari swung his hand towards Midoriya, and though the boy tried to dodge it, got hit in the shoulder with a hard fist. Suddenly, it felt as though as of his nerves had been attached to a live wire, hot fire shooting through his every joint. Screaming, he flew backwards and hit the opposite wall hard.
When he opened his eyes, Kaminari was standing over him, a smug smile on his face as his right hand twinged with electricity.
Trying to catch his breath, Midoriya stared at him in shock. “K-Kaminari? Wh-what are you…?”
Kaminari smiled even wider. “You didn’t really think you were getting out that easily, did you?”
Wide-eyed, Midoriya backed up as far as he could to the wall. “H-huh? Kaminari, you….you’re working with them…?”
Laughing menacingly, Kaminari made the electricity in his hand grow. “Wow, you really are as dumb as Bakugo says you are. Why would I ever help a weakling like you?”
Midoriya couldn’t even say anything at all. It felt like somebody head stabbed him right through the heart. Why would Kaminari work with the League of Villains? How was that even possible? He wanted to ask, but all he could do was stare in shock at the boy he thought was his friend.
Kaminari gave him a look of fake pity. “Aw, is little Deku sad? Don’t worry, you won’t feel any of that for much longer.”
Slowly, tears began to roll down Midoriya’s face. “Please Kaminari, don’t…”
“Now be a good little rabbit and go lay down on that table over there,” Kaminari said, walking towards him slowly, “All for One is waiting.”
************************************************
When the end of the school day came, all of the students went straight back to the dorms. None of them, not even Bakugo or Kirishima, felt like training. It was almost as if the argument with their homeroom teacher had been a prerequisite for the entire day. Though everybody tried to focus on their studies, not much got done, and everybody seemed in especially sour moods.
By the time dinner came, nobody was feeling much better. The awkwardness at the common area tables was thick you could practically cut it with a knife. If they were all being completely honest, nobody had even noticed that Todoroki had been missing until he came in through the front door.
“Where have you been?” Kaminari asked, his loud voice cutting through the silence.
Todoroki looked down at his feet, a somber look on his face. “Mr. Aizawa gave me detention.”
Uraraka perked up. “What, really?”
Todoroki nodded, grabbing the last dinner plate still on the counter and walking over to sit next to her. “It’s understandable. I got a little intense in class today.”
“Still,” Kirishima said, “That’s a little harsh, don’t you think?”
To his right, Kamiari laughed. “Dude, what!! One of the top students got detention!! That’s hilarious!”
Kirishima wacked him over the side of the head. “Dude, shut up.”
“It’s fine.” Todoroki told them, “I deserved it.”
“This whole situation is a mess.” Kirishima said, “I can’t believe they’re not helping him.”
Uraraka pouted. “I wish we could do something.”
“I know, but it’s much too dangerous.” Iida said, staring at his plate sadly, “Best let the pros handle it.”
“How can you say that?” Kirshima asked, looking rather offended, “Midoriya might be dying for all we know.”
“It’s not like we have much of a choice.”
“I’m just saying, we could do something if we really wanted to….” Todoroki butted in, not making eye contact.
“No we could not!” Iida snapped, “Not only do we not have the training to do something like that, but we’re also not properly trained!”
Kirishima’s eyes narrowed. “You do realize that we’re only a few years away from becoming pro heroes ourselves, right?”
“That still doesn’t change the fact that we’re not properly trained!”
“Neither is Midoriya! How the hell is he supposed to stand a chance against those guys if someone doesn’t help him?”
‘Guys, calm down.” Uraraka said, starting to look worried, “There’s no use in fighting about all of this.”
“Hey, you stay out of it!” Kirishima glared at her.
“Don’t be rude!” Iida scolded.
“Now, listen here-“
“WOULD ALL OF YOU SHUT UP?!” Bakugo suddenly yelled, pounding his fist on the table and making everyone jump, “You’re all being annoying as hell!”
Exasperated, Kirishima turned on him. “Bakugo, we weren’t even talking to you! Mind your own damn business!”
The next few moments happened almost in slow motion. When Kirishima had spoken, his hand had flared out from his side, and when it did, it collided with a glass of juice that had been sitting on the table. As Kirishima’s eyes widened, the glass flew through the air, before finally tipping over and spilling.
All over Bakugo.
For a moment, everybody looked at him in shock, knowing it was the calm before the storm. Then, Bakugo stood, quickly. Everyone flinched, expecting him to start screaming any second. But to everyone’s surprise, nothing happened. In fact, for a good minute, Bakugo just stared at the ground, not saying a word.
Then, slowly, he picked up a small plate that held a piece of cake that Sato had made. Looking at it for a second, he sighed, before smashing it right into Kirishima’s face.
The whole class gasped, looking at Kirishima, who’s face was now covered in chocolate cake. Using his hands, he wiped some of it off. Then, in one swift motion, he threw it back at Bakugo.
But Bakugo had expected it, and dodged the frosted missile just in time. It went sailing past his head, hitting Kaminari in the side of the head.
Startled, he stood up. “What the heck man?”
“O-oh sorry, dude, I didn’t mean t-“
In an instant, Kaminari had grabbed his spoon, filled it with mashed potatoes, and launched it at Kirishima. Ducking, Kirishima was able to dodge the attack on him as well, and the mashed potatoes were flung all over Mina.
Her eyes widened. “Kaminari, you’re going to pay for that! This was a new shirt!”
As Mina threw a handful of peas at Kaminari, Kirishima grabbed another handful of cake and smushed it into Bakugo’s hair. Shocked, Bakugo grabbed another drink, throwing it back at him, but ended up splashing Uraraka in the crossfire.
When she stood up, she dragged Todoroki with her, laughing and launching handfuls of rice at the two pointy-haired idiots. Soon, the entire class had joined in on the battle, food and drinks flying through the air at unimaginable speeds.
Suddenly, Iida stood up. “I demand that you all stop this right now! This is not acceptable behavior for high school students! Just think of the mess you’re making!”
For a brief moment, everyone was silent, looking at him with wide eyes. Then, out of nowhere, the class rep was pelted by an incoming bundle of peas.
“Okay, that’s it!” He shouted, grabbing food off his own plate, “You all are going to get it!”
And so, the room was thrown into chaos once again. Looking around, Uraraka couldn’t help but feel a little relief. This was definitely a much-needed laugh.
The food fight went on for another good five minutes, and would probably lasted much longer, had Kirishima not realized that Hagakare had just entered the room. He felt a little bad that he hadn’t realized before that she wasn’t there. Oh well, she was invisible after all. He was just about to go back to the fight and pelt Jirro with a bread roll when he realized that she was crying.
Lowering the bread roll, Kirishima’s face became full of concern. “Hagakare, what’s wrong?”
But the girl didn’t even hear him, for the excited shouting of his classmates was too loud. When Jirro realized that she hadn’t met her fate via bread roll, she looked up too.
“Guys!” Kirishima yelled, “Be quiet for a second!”
But nobody listened, refusing to stop the battle even for a second. Starting to get frustrated, Jirro plugged her earphone jack into the floor as she narrowly avoided being hit by another piece of Sato’s cake.
Suddenly, huge sound vibrations shook the room, and everyone fell to the ground. “Everyone quiet!” Jirro shouted.
“Hey, what was that for?” Kaminari complained, shaking rice out of his hair.
Jirro ignored him. “Hagakare, what’s wrong?””
The invisible girl whimpered, wrapping her arms around her stomach. “I-I- can’t-“
Quickly, Uraraka ran to her, wrapping her arms around the small girl. “What happened?”
“I g-got an email….” Hagakare stammerd, trying to wipe some of the tears from her face, “I-I don’t know who it’s from, b-but Midoriya…”
At the mention of the boy’s name, the whole class began throwing questions at her. The room became once again full of noise, until the were all startled by another “SHUT UP!”
But this time, it wasn’t Bakugo. It was Todoroki.
There was literally steam coming off of his head as he glared at the lot of them, before turning back to Hagakare. “What did the email say, Hagakare?”
Sniffling, she wiped her face once again. “It didn’t say anything. But there was a video.”
Todoroki nodded. “Show us.”
When Aizawa got a text at 9:00 that night from Iida, simply saying “Come quickly,” he was sure the students were in danger. Without hesitation, he practically flew to the students dorms. Halfway there, he scolded himself for not getting Present Mic or All Might to come with him, but it wasn’t like he could turn back now.
He burst into the dorm rooms, a look of steely determination on his face already prepared to wipe the floor with some villain. What he found instead, however, was possibly even worse.
The commons area looked as though a grocery store had thrown up all over it. Food, drinks, plates, and cups were everywhere, from the very edges and corners to the tip of the ceiling. What was even weirder, was that Iida was standing at the middle of it all, also covered in food, checking his phone.
When he heard him enter, he looked up. “Sensei! I was just about to call you. There’s a-“
Looking around the room, Aizawa squinted his eyes. “What is going on.”
Iida sighed. “It’s a bit hard to explain. Follow me.”
Iida led him into the lounge area, where everybody from Class 1-A was sitting around on couches. All of them, except for Hagakare, were in the same state as Iida, covered from head to toe in various pieces of dinner. For some reason, however, Aizawa got the feeling that he hadn’t been brought there do deal with that.
“Why are you all covered in food?” He asked, crossing his arms.
“We, uh…” Kirishima spoke up, “Kinda had a food fight.”
Aizawa sighed, turning to Iida. “Is that why you called me here? I thought you all were being attacked by villains.”
Swiftly, Iida shook his head. “No, no! Of course not, Sensei. I apologize for being so vague in my message to you, it’s just…”
“We didn’t really know what to say.” Uraraka stood from where she was sitting on the couch next to Hagakare and Tsu. “You see, Hagakare got this strange email…”
From her spot on the couch, Hagakare sniffled. “I-It had no sender, which I don’t know how that’s even possible, but…it was a video. A security tape.”
Kneeling at the coffee table, Todoroki motioned for Aizawa to come over, turning Hagakare’s laptop in his direction. Aizawa knelt down next to him, and Todoroki hit play.
The computer began playing a grainy video of a security tape. From what Aizawa could tell, it was of a jewelry store due to the glass cases that lined the walls. Suddenly, the window at the front of the building was smashed to pieces as a dark figure pounded on it and climbed inside.
The figure was hunched over, limping, and looked to be the size of a kid. Bright red lights began to blare as the store’s security system went wild. The figure, still limping, made it’s way over to one of the glass countertops, pushing it just as it had the window.
Sticking its hand into the case, the figure grabbed a handful of jewelry. Then, still paying no attention to the blaring sirens, the figure walked calmly towards the security camera, as though it had all the time in the world.
The room was so dark, it was almost impossible to see any of the figure’s facial features up to that point. But when the figure walked towards the camera, the lights from the sirens hit his face just right, revealing empty, green eyes, before he reached up and the camera feed went to static.
Wide-eyed, Aizawa stared at the screen. No, no no no. That couldn’t be him. God, please don’t let that be him.
It would be a long time before any of them would forget the blank, dead expression that had appeared on Midoriya’s face.
*********************
Coughing, Midoriya spat out what was probably the fourth clump of blood to reach his mouth today. Ever since Kaminari had shocked him to sleep, he’d been breathing funny, and he had a wrenching pain in his side that wouldn’t go away. He didn’t know what had happened after he’d lost consciousness, but when he woke up in the chair again, parts of his skin felt dry and cracked, as though he’d been left out in the cold for far too long.
He could feel tears forming in his eyes, but he pushed them back. If Kacchan were here, he’d call him a big baby. Or a whiny nerd. Maybe both.
He couldn’t cry now. Now, he had to figure out a way out of the situation.
Maybe, he thought, if I activate One for All, I can break these restraints.
As soon as he tried, however, he began coughing again, more blood drooling from his mouth. His head was spinning so hard that he almost didn’t see All for One come through the door and head right for him.
“Ah ah, little rabbit.” The tall man said, looking down at him, “Trying to escape is only going to hurt you, I promise.”
“What do you want?!” Izuku croaked, his voice cracking in several different places. “Why haven’t you killed me yet?”
All for One looked taken aback. “Now now, Izuku! I’m not going to kill you. In fact, I’m doing quite the opposite. I’m making you much stronger.”
“Don’t touch me!” Midoriya yelled desperately, though he knew he had no choice in the matter.
“Settle down now, Izuku. I am not going to do anything else to you. At least, not right now. Now, I want to test how well you’ve adjusted to my quirk. I think it’s about time you met somebody.”
Midoriya didn’t have time to even think about what my quirk meant before another figure stepped out of the shadows. Looking at it, Midoriya’s entire body froze in fear. “No, no…!”
The figure looked back at All for One. “What’s his problem? He doesn’t even know me.”
“Remember my mind manipulation quirk? He thinks you’re someone else.”
“TODOROKI, HOW COULD YOU?!”
Eyes widening, the boy turned on Midoriya, then back on All for One. “How does he know my name?” He growled.
All for One crossed his arms. “He thinks you’re Shouto. Maybe do your best to play the part.”
Rolling his eyes, Todoroki walked up to Midoriya and knelt down in front of him, staring at him with harsh, judgmental eyes.
“I always hated people like you.”
Even though Todoroki hadn’t touched him yet, Midoriya felt as he’d been shot in the heart. Surely, Todoroki wasn’t saying these things. He couldn’t. He wouldn’t.
Yet there wasn’t an ounce of mercy in those familiar brown and blue eyes when he put his right hand on Izuku’s arm. A hot, searing sensation shot up it, making him scream in pain.
For a moment, Todoroki looked at him with a blank expression, before stopping his quirk, rolling his eyes, and looking back at All for One.
“It didn’t work.”
All for One shook his head. “I was afraid it wouldn’t. No matter, his body just needs more time to adjust.”
After that, the two stalked off again, leaving Izuku on his own. First Kaminari, now Todoroki? He couldn’t’ believe it. He refused to believe it. But still, he had seen the cold, uncaring eyes of the boy who he’d thought was his best friend, felt him burn him with his own quirk.
Tears began to roll down the poor boy’s face, and suddenly, he couldn’t take it anymore. He broke out into sobs, unsure if the worse pain was coming from his arm or his heart.

Your shitty cousins au is the greatest head canon ever imagined, this needs to be official.
[for 1A it was the most suprising yet not-so-surprising revelation of the day]
Hahaha there’s really no evidence that totally support or is against it, so let’s just headcanon away ! They might be distant, unknowing cousins for all we know lmao

Quirk Swap: an extremely silly drawing that I did not expect would blow up as much as it did 🫣
I got a lot of "this was YOU??" while tabling at conventions because people recognized it from Pinterest and Instagram 😆
Little theory thing I guess
No spoilers I just go on and on
Au thing my hero academia
[acsidently deleted the post so this version is lazy sorry ] I only have 3 aus with it and 2 if not 3 are just my oc being in the world
The first 1: my oc gets transported to the mha world and changes A few things from canon he also learns about the difrent power system they have [because of his age they send him with aizawa and he has to go back to school] what a nightmare
The second one 2: the mha characters start teleporting to the world I made up in my brain it involves a portion of angst with a male damsel/father figure in distress blame the hunger games thanks to Peta I like a good helpless guy specifically father figures somthing about them being rescued by minors I really like
gonna do ANOTHER au consipt idea? Chat maybe its a rant about it but I really have been wanting to talk about my swap au even though it's not a idea/consept? I never do know when it's not a consept or idea
ANYWAYS IMMA YAP ABOUT IT UNDER THE CUT -warning sec and the cg+purp don't exist
Hi Tulip! I have a small question
How do you know what to put in one panel, or how to show the story in comic format overall. I can't really animate nor write fics, but i can draw and I have been trying to do small silly comics but I never really know what im supposed to do with them.
like i want to create some story but feels like i am a total noob in it and i really love your comics so i thought maybe i'll just ask.
Sorry, and thanks :<
Hello :> and thank you for the compliment 💕
Well making a comic, I write the script entirely in a doc and try to cut the dialogue by how the character would poses or emote (when you imagine the scene).
For example if the character says a shocked line and then the next one is where they laugh, I make sure they're in separated panels. Same with different actions.
Here an example with a short comic I haven't draw yet
But what help the most is to draw a tiny rough version on paper.
If youre a 'total noob' then I say that you might need to draw short stories first so you can get a hang of it and find a system that works for you ^^
Hope that helps and I wish you good luck and have fun!

au idea or consept idk
sensitive topic? Idk but Alan is a bit unhinged in this idea
Alan a stick figure, owner of a facility that watches 4 hollow headed stick figures with destructive abilities (dispite vic not originally having powers he is a hollow head there for considerd a threat)
au idea I came up with [likely part 1]of many more au ideas to come
it's a bit of Alan Becker x tadc au thing before the gun ep for sure
