the elusive 10 million note post

Ok so here’s the thing, my sw was 135, i am currently at 120 (and this is pounds btw) . I’ve dropped 15 pounds in 2 months, yet I can’t see the difference. A lot of people say approximately the same thing on this site, and other places. I figured that there had to be an actual reason for this, since everyone has noticed this about themselves, it can’t be a me thing. So I did alone googling and it turns out that there’s an actual scientific reason for this.

When human bodies lose weight, especially in an unhealthy way (ie: EDs), fat doesn’t leave evenly. It goes from in between the muscles and organs first. This is also why our hands, faces and feet this before our thighs and stomachs. Because stomach and thigh fat isn’t stored primarily at the surface, but in between stuff like intestines, muscles, kidneys, uteri (to those of you to whom that applies) and other organs. But hand and face fat IS stored on the surface, right under the dermal layers, because there is literally nowhere else for it to go. I mean, yes ther are muscles in our faces and hands, but they’re so small and so closely packed together that it’s actually harmful to stretch them appart (like what fat does in our stomachs) and therefor the body doesn’t do it.

🌄 Your long, delicate neck throw back as you laugh

🌄 Your bony, thin fingers wrap around the back of their neck as they hold you tight, like you weigh nothing- you do weigh nothing.

Now, look at the fatty food in front of you. Cake? Ice cream? Pizza? This person with never exist if you give into it.
