Yeah, it was another one of those pop culture classics I never got around to seeing growing up (I didn’t watch Mean Girls until I was in college, so I was floored by how many of the Iconique Quotes™ people would recite were from that movie) but I’m glad I finally got around to it!  And yeah, that seems to be a common trend in movie series… the first one is good, but they rush the second to capitalize on the hype of the first however by the time they do the third they’ve gotten back to the stuff that made the first good. (And then after three movies they’re usually just milking the franchise at that point)
