War has caused Nakoma not to value strength; she does not see it as commendable but merely a weapon.

For so many years, she has existed inside a sensation of depression in which she cannot quite grasp what she once was. The same clothes will never feel the same, and she can’t quite find herself.

She is filled with roiling emotions, but suppresses the majority.

Nakoma has lived through much loss, family and friends alike. She feels much separation anxiety as a result, always fearing that loved ones will never return every time they depart.

There exists an inexplicable, harrowing, and infuriating emptiness inside her because she cannot understand or control her existence.

She can be rather vindictive under the right conditions.

There is a numbness when she thinks of her parents; there was no closure. Sometimes it just feels like a nightmare—like maybe they weren’t even real.

Nakoma sometimes struggles with her reality basis. Particularly when alone, she tends to become foggy, a little lost in dreamlike disassociation.  

Nakoma struggles to express excessive, pent-up energy harbored from the frustration of continuing her existence in an unfamiliar world.

Others rarely irritate her; she simply accepts every facet of others as an integral part to who they are.
