First post yay! - I know Clancy is drawn as many different animals and I love cat Clancy dearly but I always see him as a hare. In a lot of cultures, hares are highly important animals and are often connected to cycles and rebirth! Especially The Three Hares painting by Vikki Yeates. Connected by their ears, the hares are shown running in a cycle. This symbol is found in other cultures also!

To me, I think a hare symbolizes perseverance. They’re such small animals, yet all over the world they thrive. Just because they’re prey, doesn’t mean they’re weak. They must be clever and make split second decisions to save their lives when needed, and they have quite sharp claws too!
