hello i would like everyone to know that sometimes you can sob your eyes out and have an existential crisis one moment and then suddenly you're booking your driver's test and applying for jobs and crocheting a blanket and maybe life isn't so bad anymore!! maybe you can feel awful and fix your life anyway!! maybe you're allowed to be a wreck and still be good enough!! i am a full on adult and have avoided getting my license for years but now i'm finally doing it because i've grown around the fear!!!! the world didn't crash and burn when i was fifteen!! i did this for myself and i'm going to be okay!!

You should be able to rot in bed for 2, maybe 3 hours after waking up before it starts affecting what time it is. If I wake up at 8:30 and lie in bed for 2hr it should still be 8:30 when I get up

Maturity is when you realize people can't give you what they can't give themselves, so you stop expecting loyalty from people who betray themselves, stop expecting honesty from people who lie to themselves, and stop expecting peace from people who are at war with themselves.

Life has made me so quiet. I just want to listen, no more talking, no more arguing, no more explaining. Just silence.

if you’re trying to discover your “purpose” in life, i’ve found a lot of comfort in the concept that your purpose is actually already inside of you… but it’s just up to you to live and enjoy life and it will all become clear. you cannot go wrong investing in your own connection to self, your health, your knowledge, your community. you are rewarded when you make the most of the life and body you’ve been given. sometimes knowing exactly what you want to “do” or what’s coming next isn’t actually your place to know right now. all you need is trust that it’ll happen through a life well lived.
