It’s graduation season! As this year’s graduates prepare to receive their diplomas, here is a look back at the Saratoga High School class of 1907. This photograph is from the Ingmire Family Collection, and the list of names on the back indicates that Ruby Ingmire is one of the ladies in the middle row, toward the right. The notes on the back also indicate that members of this graduating class were set to go on to such institutions as Albany Law School, New York University, Vassar, Cornell, and the New York Academy of Music.
Congratulations, graduates!

Fun fact: the fedora was originally a woman’s hat, popularized by a hairy Jewish lesbian actress.Â
In 1882, Sarah Bernhardt starred in a play about a Russian princess called Fédora (which is the francification of Фёдора, or Theodora. So a fedora should actually be called a Theodora), and the hat she wore immediately became a sensation among women, which years later was adopted as a popular style of men’s hat.
So whenever some disgusting neckbeard in a fedora, cargo shorts, and flip-flops is complaining about how awful a female-led Ghostbusters is going to be, you can smile and think of Sarah.
