I meant to post this on John Haymes Newton’s birthday a few days ago (12/29).  He only played Clark Kent / Superboy for the 1st season.   He did a pretty good job on the show & filled out the Superboy / Superman costume nicely.

2022 - #41:  My friend hothardhat recently obtained an iron lung.  During my childhood, these machines were used for polio victims who could no longer breathe on their own.  I imagine the usage of them is much more rare these days. The photos show the iron lung with hothardhat bound in a spandex type sleepsack.  In the first photo he is just about to be slid inside and sealed in to let the machine take over his breathing.  The second photo looks through an observation window and shows him inside the lung.
