putting a ridiculous amount of thought into universe building can be super rewarding. originally I was just doing it for this one story but then I realized not only could a lot of my other stories also fit into the universe, but there was a huge overarching narrative of the universe itself that was being progressed through all these different stories. And I didn’t realize it until I saw them all together and realize holy mackerel

It’s like...I’ve made myself a Discworld.

I’m also realizing I have a lot of stories to tell if I’m going to tell the story of the universe. So I’d better get on this.

because today is looking more and more like I’m gonna be here till like 10 at night just gonna write the one thing that’s gone right today (besides the pumpkin bars at the cafeteria those were killer)

I was in this crossfit class this morning right and the instructor was showing me squat variations and making sure I had proper form (man I hate overhead squats already), but since I know squats super well I had the form down from the start. after we went over them and did a few reps in each he was kind of at a loss because, as he said, “normally people end up doing like a hundred plus reps of these because I need to make sure their form is right but your form is perfect.”

Lucky me squats are like the one thing I know how to do right.

But then after that he made me do a metabolic workout and let me tell you it made it painfully clear that my upper body is nowhere near as in shape as my lower body.
