Paxton's driver shook her head in mock disapproval. From her perch on his ladder she could spot one of the relief drivers trotting over wearing a massive smile.

"Look out, buddy, I think one of the youngsters is here to steal you away."

Paxton giggled. His sunny disposition made him immensely popular with the relief drivers, and it was no secret that a few of them were hoping to one day become his permanent crew, much to his and his current Driver's amusement.

"Guess what," He called to the approaching human, "Driver just said you're here to steal me, imagine that!"

The younger woman blew a raspberry at the elder before leaning against Paxton's bufferbeam. Reaching up, she scratched the engine's chin affectionately and shot him a wink.
