WHAT IF what if Cross joined Nightmare and Killer before mtt was formed, though we don’t actually see Cross and Killer interact in Underverse.. WHAT IF THEY DID, and provided support for each other during dark times.

Cross was going through the worst times of his life, was the worse version of himself when he was with Killer, so it’s why he doesn’t like to look back on those times a lot. But even in his darkest moments, he was still the light of Killer’s life at that time. That’s why it hurt so much when Cross left. Cross HAD to leave for to save himself, but Killer was left behind with only the memories of their time together.

They probably both moved on after long time afterward but who knowsss, things would DEFINITELY be awkward towards each other though. Could you IMAGINE them reuniting in chromatic crew and just pretending they don’t remember each other and failing miserably in being normal with each other.
