like seriously how many ppl on here actually follow the line of the kke? at least on my dash i basically never see someone posting kke statements, i see ppl being accused of being 'crypto-kke-ites' which is basically a conspiracy theory. i think when an 'orthodox' MLism represented by the kke is rhetorically set up on here as the trend contending against 'tricontinental' MLism, it actually obscures the terms of the disagreement just as much as when 'leftcoms' or 'trotskyists' or 'maoists' (or 'crypto-' variations thereof) are set up as the contending trend. with 'leftcoms' this is for similar reasons as with 'orthodox' MLs, and with the latter two tendencies its because these ideological traditions contain examples of organizations taking either one of the two main positions on internationalism and anti-imperialism to varying degrees. it's all just shadowboxing that substitutes readymade polemics over ideological differences for contention between actual political lines

it's incredible how often communists on this site will overcorrect against an incorrect position, and when you make a polite and nuanced post, fully acknowledging the position they're speaking against as being incorrect, but ultimately disagree with the overcorrection, these communists will skim over your post and go "you literally hold the original incorrect position". every time. because politics on this site are ultimately the same as in the shittiest british trotskyite student organisation: a battle of ego and making sure everyone knows you have the correctest position in the loudest way possible, and that whoever you're disagreeing with needs to be dragged through the mud.

and, i mean, i consider myself a marxist-leninist primarily and above all else because i think that imperialism is the 'sharp edge' of the global class struggle, the fulcrum on which global capitalism rests and on which it must be fought--which is why i think it is a fundamental mistake to confuse even genuine economic sovereignty under socialist principles for an escape from imperialism, or more severely to dissociate the anti-imperialist and class struggles as two different things. it is simply incorrect to argue that one can 'care too much' about the latter as opposed to the former, this is a misdiagnosis of the analysis of the imperial chauvinist-socialist--because the latter is in fact not complete nor coherent without the former.
