Do you know how to draw those lines over glasses that people wear? Like a lease flare almost .? I'm just not sure how to position the lines
Hmmm, I guess you mean this, hmmmThis is the way I do it:
Ā It depends on the glasses model but it usually works.
Are you still doing the mini-tutorial thingies? If so, could you please do one on people holding hands? Drawings hands is hard already, but I've recently realized that two interlaced hands are even harder to draw X_x
Okay, this is going to look like a āhow to hold handsā tutorial so y'all can laugh at that, but I find that the best way to figure things like this out is sometimes to think through the interactions necessary to get into the position. Ā So here we go.
As for drawing hands in general, yeah, thatās a whole other kettle of fish. u_u
Dearest Kisu, the characters you draw are always full of like and dynamic! Do you have any tips to draw more dynamic characters/poses ? I love your art so much, you're such an inspiration to me
1. The action line:
Itās a line that you use when you create the posing that will help you translate a strenght/ an intention and Ā give āa directionā to the body.
2. Perspective
It can help making a posing more dynamic if you vary angles, perspective and directions
3. Donāt be shy, exaggerate!
Thatās how you really can translate mouvements through drawings!
4. Try to avoid āmirrorlā stuff.
It works very well when you want to do artistic stuff (like tarot card aesthetics) but not so much when you want it to look lively.
(Making hair and clothes flow help a lot too hahaha)
5. Try to doĀ āone strokeā line so it doesnātĀ ābreakā the mouvementĀ

The Hero Initiative is Really Wonderful
Fortunately, Iāve never needed them.
But many cartoonists do.
This job comes with no security, or benefits of any kind. And if you canāt keep working, and donāt have enough royalties or savings, you can quickly be wiped out. Most creators are only about 60-90 days from bankruptcy.
One of my all-time favorite inkers, Bob Wiacek, has a GoFUNDME campaign up right now to help him recover from the devastating financial losses he sustained when his wife became severely ill and passed away. Bob and his wife were uninsured.
THE HERO INITIATIVE is the only charity for comic book creators. It has distributed $750,000 to artists and writers in need. This is a wonderful story about the good work they do.
Youād be surprised how many big name creators have had to turn to THE HERO INITIATIVE for aid.
The creative team on AMAZING FANTASTIC INCREDIBLE STAN LEE donated a portion of the advance from the book to THE HERO INITIATIVE. I hope weāll be able to continue to contribute.
If you care about the people who bring you the stories you love and can help out, please go to THE HERO INITIATIVE website and contribute what you can, or make a purchase, with all proceeds going to the benefit of THE HERO INITIATIVE.

Donāt Know What to Draw?
H O R R O R . P R O M P T S
āI just got back from the cemetery.ā
āI swear I just saw someone⦠or something looking in my window.ā
āI know I closed the damn closet door, but it keeps opening! Please tell me this is just some kind of joke you keep pulling.ā
āWhatās behind you in these picturesā¦?ā
āApparently like 20 years ago, some girl slaughtered her family in the basement.ā
āI think thereās something about this house that youāre not telling me.ā
āI keep hearing noises coming from the atticā¦ā
āI know what I saw, and whatever is in the basement⦠itās not human!ā
āI didnāt have time to see what it was! I just got the hell out of there!ā
āWhose grave were you bringing flowers toā¦?ā
āThe electricity guy said there was absolutely nothing wrong ā and yet, the lights always flicker on at 2am. Explain that to me?ā
āWhy donāt you spend the night in that house āaloneā, then try to convince me that you donāt believe in ghosts.ā
āY-you donāt understand, he didnāt have a face!ā
āI had a dream that I killed you.ā
āAh, yes⦠the room youāre staying in. Itās a paranormal hot spot, apparently.ā
āI keep hearing whispers at night⦠I-I canāt sleep!ā
āThere was something else in there with me, Iām not going back to that house.ā
āCome on, itās just an urban legendā¦ā
āAre you trying to tell me Iāve been sleeping in a dead girlās room!?ā
āI keep getting the feeling that someone is following me.ā
āDonāt panic⦠but I think thereās someone else in the house.ā
āI can still feel her/his ghost, and itās killing meā¦ā
āThereās something growling in the basement⦠could you, uh⦠check it out for me?ā
āCan you just⦠can you please check the closet?ā
āP-please⦠put the knife down.ā
āI bought this haunted ring on eBay!ā
āNo, no, no ā run!ā
āI didnāt forward one of those freaky chain letters and now I keep hearing the laughter of children coming from my hallways at night.ā
āThe dead are all around usā¦ā
āSheās dead! Sheās dead and yet I keep seeing her, everywhere!ā
āThereās something breathing under the bedā¦ā
"You canāt tell me you donāt believe in ghosts after all weāve been through.ā
āI saw something I wasnāt supposed to see, something⦠that wasnāt supposed to be here.ā
āMaybe an exorcism is in orderā¦?ā
āI woke up, and it was j-just⦠staring at me.ā
āHe was there, then like a second later he literally vanished! I saw it happen!ā
āI like the ghosts here⦠they keep me company.ā
"You canāt honestly tell me youāre in love with a dead girl.ā
āWasnāt someone murdered in this house? Why are we here?ā
āIf dying means being with him/her, kill me. Iād be happier that way.ā
āGhosts arenāt real. You need help.ā
āā¦what do you mean we didnāt talk last night? You came over, you were here.ā
āYou saw something you werenāt supposed to see. And now⦠now you know what has to be done.ā
āIām pretty sure my toasterās haunted.ā
"Whatās wrong with you? You look like youāve seen a ghost.ā
āDonāt! Donāt you dare open that door!ā
āI visited his/her grave for the first time todayā¦ā
āSomething terrible happened here, didnāt it?ā
āWh-why do you have a knifeā¦?ā
"Youāre all bloody, what happened!?ā
āYou know that book from The Evil Dead? Yeah, well⦠Iām pretty sure we found something pretty damn similar to it.ā
āYouāre bleedingā¦ā
āHow can you not see itā¦? Iām dead! Iāve been dead for years!ā
āIāve always wanted to see you choking on your own blood.ā
āIām sorry, Iām busy Friday with the⦠funeral and all.ā
āIāll never forget the sound of his screaming.ā
āFrom the looks of it, the afterlife is a lot more fun than this.ā
"Legend has it that you can still hear her crying for her lover in the dead of night.ā
āI want to be dead, too.ā
āWell donāt you look lovely, all covered in blood.ā
"Whoa ā wait! Please donāt go down there⦠letās just get out of here, please?ā
āYou played with a Ouija board!?ā
āMe and some friends played with a Ouija board the other night⦠and things have been a little strange since then.ā
āThereās so much negative energy in this house⦠do you know if someone died here?ā
āYouāre always hanging out in cemeteries⦠and yeah, itās kinda creepy.ā
"They just donāt believe like they used toā¦ā
āI will haunt you until the end of time.ā

HOLY FREE ART PROGRAMS BATMAN
Iāve had this list sitting around for a while (in case I ever want to try something new) and I thought Iād share it, because why the hell not, everybody loves free stuff. Iāve only used a couple, so for all I know these could be complete shit. BUT YOU NEVER KNOW, RIGHT?
*= available for both windows and mac os
GIMP * - Does a lot of the same stuff as Photoshop.
FireAlpaca * - Similar to Paint Tool Sai, so itās a good alternative for Mac users.
Autodesk Sketchbook Copic Edition * - Simulates the look of copic markers.
MyPaint * - Basic stuff, nothing fancy.
Pinta * - Drawing program modeled after paint.NET.
Inkscape * - Vector/drawing program meant to be similar to Illustrator.
ArtRage * - Digital painting program; you can get the trimmed down version for free or buy the full version with more features.
Sumo Paint * - In-browser drawing app.
DAZ Studio * - Some sort of 3D model poser thing.
Pencil * - Software for animating.
SketchUp * - Tool for making 3D models. Looks handy for stuff like architectural drawings.
Blender * - Pretty popular 3D software.
escape motions * - Some browser apps, fun to fiddle with when youāre bored (the fluid fire simulation is pretty cool imo).
Twistedbrush (Pixarra) - Seems to be meant for replicating the look of traditional media.
Pixia/Phierha - A popular program in Japan, according to the website.
Krita - This was originally made for Linux and it looks like the developers havenāt ironed out all of the kinks in the Windows installer.
Artweaver - Another trimmed down free thing if you donāt want to buy the full program.
paint.NET - Pretty basic kit, probably good for simple stuff.
Project Dogwaffle - Iām not sure what this one is all about because I couldnāt stop laughing at the terrible website.
Speedy Painter - Lightweight digital painting program.
mtPaint - Originally made for pixel art; simple enough to run on older computers.
Chasys Draw IES - Supposed to be some sort of drawing+image editor thing.
PaintRibbon - Seems to be another plain old basic image editor.
DrawPlus - Looks like itās made for graphic design and vector stuff.
SmoothDraw - Iām guessing this is a basic thing for people who donāt want to bother with complicated stuff.
In case you guys want to draw your own OTP + the cinnamon rollās defense squad:
