ILLUSION

This is one of the three Pixy Punk dolls from ‘funville’ toys. I bought her at Kmart for $4.50 AUD. She comes in this little.. coffin?? shaped half box, decorated with pictures and things. She has a little window for her legs that is clear plastic. No trace of a name on the packaging. Shes got light green skin and bright green (notably soft) Hair. Heres her out of the box from the chest up

Her head isn’t very detailed, but its made of a hard vinyl sort of like the Bratz dolls are. Her limbs are also made of the same material from the joints out (She has arm articulation! Wow!) and her body itself is hard plastic. She wears an off the shoulder punk shirt that is of a surprisingly decent quality. She comes with a set of plastic wings that are basically the same as packaging plastic. They’re sewn onto her top.

Lower body time! Cute mismatched tights (That are sadly sewn to the inside of her denim shorts) and these little black boots that are super cool. time to strip down and size comparison! Compared to Jinafire. Pretty average doll body. except that she swivels on that stomach joint! She’s roughly the same size as an MH dolls and her legs are a rubbery vinyl like her arms. They also seem to be a darker shade of green. Also her feet are tiny little nubs oh my gosh. Shame those shoes won’t be salvageable for my dolls.. Hair time. Check out the little hair nubs! Kinda cute! Her hair is surpisingly soft and silky to the touch, and well rooted around the hairline.

But not so much on her scalp. Still sorta thick though, and a nice colour. With that out of the way, i tested her clothes on the CAM Gorgon girl!

Pants don’t fit, but with some squeezing the socks do. But it’s all attached. Maybe I can detach them? If i do that, the shorts may fit on their own. Time’ll tell.

I wanted to draw the new Scarah so I decided to use it as an art study opportunity, and you can’t argue with the results!

It took eight hours and I’m leaving it here even though I know I could probably spend some more time on it. I know My lighting needs improvement. But I’m super happy and that’s all that matters. I’ll take what I’ve learned and improve next time. :) 

Sadly I couldn’t get her because I didn’t have enough money and I’m saving up for the Valentine And Spelldon dolls :3
