5. Who steals the other's clothes and wears them around the house/for bed?
they don't do it often but between the two of them it would be nikolai, mostly because flins is too tall for him to fit in any of the former's clothes LMAO. it tends to happen more when the two haven't seen each other in a while due to their respective duties as lightkeepers. nikolai stops by the final night cemetery (where flins lives) pretty often to visit, and occasionally he'll show up before flins has finished his patrols. one time flins leaves his coat behind as he's running a few quick errands, and he comes back to nikolai wrapped up in it fast asleep on the couch because he waited too long. the latter is Very embarrassed about it but it's a memory flins cherishes
12. Between you and f/o, who talks more and who listens intently?Β
flins is definitely the yapper of the two - mans LOVES to talk. he shares a lot of stories about the lightkeepers as well as ancient folklore that nikolai has never heard of despite growing up in snezhnaya. the latter finds his stories fascinating and will often lose track of time listening to the sound of his voice. it doesn't mean flins doesn't also enjoy hearing nikolai talk--usually he'll ask about their day or if anything interesting has happened recently, especially since he doesn't go into town often. it makes him feel better also when he's having off days and spends most of his time at home in his lantern form; nikolai will hold him in their lap as they talk and he finds it's soothing just to bask in their presence like this
19. Who is an early riser and who likes to sleep in? You or f/o?
both their sleep schedules are so messy, mostly due to their lightkeeper duties calling them out at any hour in the day. flins is practically nocturnal, so he tends to take the night shifts, and nikolai bounces around where he's needed. it does mean that their schedules occasionally don't align, even when nikolai starts taking later shifts to avoid fatui stationed in nod krai; it's not uncommon for one to return home to find the other getting ready for their day or already gone. though given flins's supernatural nature he doesn't need as much sleep as nikolai, so it's more common for him to wake up before the latter. he doesn't mind nikolai sleeping in when they're able, both because he knows how exhausting the work can be, and also because he gets to observe their sleeping face a little longer
26. What is your favourite physical feature of your f/o? Whatβs their favourite for you?
for flins, nikolai thinks his eyes are pretty. he found them a little unsettling at first, especially when their gaze is on him, but eventually accepted them as another endearing trait of his nature. doesn't mean he doesn't still get shy when making eye contact though. he also finds his pointy ears and fae wings cute, on the rare occasion flins feels comfortable enough to let parts of his glamour drop
for nikolai, flins likes their hands, how small they are compared to his own, scars and weathered skin each telling its own story. he likes to hold them or idly brush his hand over their own when they have some downtime together. he also likes how flustered it makes nikolai when he kisses their knuckles. he also likes their overall height difference, it gives him cuteness aggression w/ how small they are in comparison, perfect forehead kissing height <3. and he can tower over them and watch them pretend like it doesn't affect them
