corv-grischâ:
A little modest she was, refusing to accept her position of a superior. Perhaps one forgets their place when the soil matters more. Itâs what most people tend to say when trying to establish their angelic character.
Something that was completely phony and rather pathetic when the so called pure souls worded such words that Henry would never.
But with this young lady, it didnât appear to be the case. Somehow, with her voice emphasizing the importance of the battle than the wealth sheâs obtained, it sounded true. There was truth that was laid out in front for the world to see.
Interesting, indeed.
âWhat is there to report? That Iâm a cheeky-cheek from another dimension and might have a brain blast at how nothing makes sense anymore? Thatâd be something to write a story on. Nya ha ha!â
He didnât mean to be rude about it, no no.. he hoped that the genuine amusement of his dilemma was what she sees and hears.
Ah, the scouting mission.. oh she jests.
Of course, heâs from a different dimension. It almost slipped her mind that he probably doesnât know a lot about Crimea, or Tellius at all. As a foreign exchange general, naturally, he needed guidance⌠Although Mia had assumed someone was assigned to help the other⌠Were they afraid of him?Â
Oh well, if no one was, she decided to take on the challenge.
âThatâs odd, I thought someone was assigned to show you around⌠Oh well, Iâll receive a report from the general of the division soon. Any who, you mentioned nothing making sense to you here, well, I can help! It must be hard for you to get used to foreign lands, especially a continent rather different from your own.â
She paused, thinking of possible ways to work things out. She was still not used to this higher position of hers and her vocabulary was not sophisticated like others eitherâŚ
âI have a short mission to run; A band of bandits have attacked Port Toha and stealing peopleâs stuff, Iâd like you to come with me to stop this mess! We can chat and discuss things on the way, how does that sound?â
Leading wasnât her forte either, but fighting sure was! Although sometimes this new position limited her chances of letting looseâŚ
Oh man.. that was a guide? He really assumed it was some undercover officer who was trying to tuck him in the earthly beds. Let's say they were not dead, but he showed him a cute little hex that involved rotted hands and caused them to shriek like a banshee.
" 't's not all that different, I'm just messing with you." He waved his hand in dismissal, mostly because he figured, it was out of his place to keep playing the fool. She was kind enough not to send him to the brig, or put him on cleaning duty.
"Really? That'd be great!" Killing wasn't always fun when it got repetitive, but giving a good scare to scare the living pants off others? Always something to look forward to. "Just what extent are we stopping them? Little bandits that just need their butts burnt or a full out bloody war?"
In this rather peaceful land, he doubted that it would be a huge, earth-shattering brawl. It just seemed.. too relaxed for that. But Henry wasn't going to be a bum about it, his Commander seemed fun, and not spending that time with her might bite later.
