However, rallying the crowd like this person genuinely did something wrong isn't right. You are allowed to be uncomfortable without having a villain in the equation, but what you're not allowed to do is throw the word "pedophile" around like it means nothing. It's dangerous. It can hurt people in their real life. Nothing pedophilic happened, there were no children in the original context of the joke.

The joke itself was that, spontaneously, an adult crawled out of one of their belly-buttons, and then what happened happened. This wasn't even them doing it, it was their RP characters with warnings about these characters pinned to their pages. Am I saying it's funny? No, I'm not. It wasn't funny, it was gross to be gross. But "pedophile" is a HEAVY word to use with real-world consequences.
